The main / big photo is the original early gun muzzle

 

The small inset picture shows the late gun muzzle.

 

 

The early Viper Guide states most F-16A/Bs were built with the early muzzle, but ones assembled on the production line with the Cs were given the late muzzle....no date but would have to be from the mid 80s. Some of the earlier F-16AM MLU were given the late muzzle during the upgrade might apply to others.
