Skyviper Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 So I read that in August all of America will get a chance to see a solar eclipse but a few lucky bastards will get a chance to be in the path of totality. https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/solar.html https://www.greatamericaneclipse.com/ It will be neat to this. Even though I'm the section that won't see the entire thing. Chances are it will be raining that day. Quote
+Fubar512 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Witnessed two eclipses a long time ago (in March of 1970 and July of 1972). Both were partial eclipses in my area, and in the latter event, I set up a telescope on a street corner with a sun projection screen so passers-by could get a safe look. What I remember being cool about the 1972 event, was seeing literally thousands of projected images of the eclipse caused by the sun shining through the tree leaves in the area. Quote
