Moving canopys/parts whidout animations

Hello.

I am trying to make canopys work on planes that don`t have it animated.

I use Muestoolbox. and I use the modelNodName.

anybody have some tips??

If the plane has no animation done for the cockpit mesh, then no luck.

The stock planes which have such animations were done in with the intention to let them park with open canopies. (which is stupidity but spectacular). This is done with ParkingAnimation variable. This is a static state used when the selected plane is generated by the terrain as "parked aircraft".  Cunning modders exploited this by mapping controls to this pre existing animation for player manual control.

The canopy mesh, otherwise has only one special function, to be jettisoned when ejecting.

You mean "open" canopy that is not animated?

You can't. Animation need to be assigned in 3d model.
