Ship-Based Missile Question

Has anyone ever tried turning the ship-based missiles into ARMs in order to simulate 'decapitation' strikes by naval vessels on land-based SAM and EW radars?

Just wondering if the naval vessels had the ability to target anything that isn't in the water.

if its possible it may cause mess....ships will start to shoot all the time  if  based near shoreline...generally if enemy will be in range.

I've place New Jersey close in to the coast of Lebanon in the past and have seen it engage shore targets like armour and AAA units with both guns and Tomahawks.

That’s interesting.  I kinda want the naval units engaging shore targets.  But I don’t want them that close.

I may try laying submarines off the shore and see what happens.
