FA-18F Super Hornet?

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Is anyone out there working on a super hornet model?

I know we already have the hornet, but I think the Super is so much cooler!

Could the normal hornet be updated, any ideas?

Regards

How dare you speak of that....thing on my site.....the Super Hornet is a travesty to Naval aviation. Its attempt to replace the Tomcat are poor at best. We dare not speak of it anywhere in Strike Fighers for its the one who dare not speak of. :alcoholic::nono:

Now to answer your question. Not that I am aware of.

Apologies, Did not mean to offend. The Tomcat is cool, but she is getting old.

Well to start you would need a new 3d model because there are significant diferences in the shape. Also you would need a different data file because the superhornet has more pylons and because of this the loadout ini would need to be modified if not rewriten because of the addad pylons. If you are crazy about details you would need new hanger and loading screens. As for your love of tomcats the X-35 is going to be 593,000,241,901 times better.

Not hardly, they cant even get a engine on it powerful enough to carry the payload they want it to carry. The X-35 is another Pentagon blunder. The Marines are getting ready to can the idea of using it as is cant even carry the load of a Harrier.
