+daddyairplanes Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 several air arms had a good bit of success with this fighter. the USN didnt because the armor, heavier weapons (50 cal vs 30 cal) and radios put in after it was designed overloaded it and made it a dog. even Pappy Boyington allegedly said it was a hot little ship "until the Navy threw all that crap in"
