Noob question: can you multiplayer with WOE?

Sorry, if this is the wrong forum. But I recently repurchased WOE and I was hoping to play against some friends. But I don't see how (or even if) WOE allows you to play against other people.

Are you sure you repurchased WOE (Wings over Europe) and not Strike Fighters 2: Europe?

WOE clearly has Multiplayer as a choice on it's Menu/Splash screen.

Strike Fighters 2: Europe doesn't have multiplayer as an option.
