Observation on Winter trees (Might just be me?)

Is it me or do the No Snow and Light snow Winter trees seem a bit "Cartoony"?  (could be the shadows? )  No mods were on...Taken at 1440p resolution.. Not criticising guys im loving the sim and each patch makes it better, just wondering on your thoughts..Cheers

What are your detail settings, if they are all on five it is pretty sharp, but it will cost you FPS.
