      26 September - Maintenance Notification   09/21/2024

      CombatACE.com will be offline this upcoming Thursday morning, September 26, 2024. The duration of this event will be 4-5 hours. Our website will be unavailable and return an error during that time. Maintenance of our equipment is unavoidable, and this downtime will allow the opportunity to replace worn and damaged fans, power supply units, and thermal paste throughout all our equipment. Thank you for reading our maintenance advisory.

Folks, I just notice a weird issue. I remove some parts from a plane via editing but when that plane is destroyed, even still airborne, the "removed" part appears. My edited lines below:

[Remove1]
//ParentComponentName=Fuselage
ModelNodename=Empty
DestroyedNodeName=CowlFlaps
DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE
HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE

????????

Use

ModeNodeName=CowlFlaps

Sorry there was a typo in my post. maybe that.

The full section as I would write it then:

[Remove1]
ParentComponentName=Fuselage
ModelNodename=CowlFlaps
DestroyedNodeName=CowlFlaps
DetachWhenDestroyed=FALSE
HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE

With that it should work. I am not sure for the ParentComponentName but I will keep it as it is the usual case, and make sure that the parameter in this entry "Fuselage" is a real section in data.ini ([Fuselage] in data.ini, not a node in the LOD).
