WitchyWoman 48 Posted November 2 So I bought OTT. First off I love flying the new bullet!!!! I have not flown this plane since Red Baron 3d! lol One thing I would like to know is if any of the mods before the new dlc are still relevant? Obviously the facilities mods are not but what about moving troops, the aircraft tweaks by Von S and others? 2nd, I am noticing some microstutter, As I take off I notice the terrain bellow jerking by a bit. I also notice in the workshop that we have new graphics choices, some new features have been added as well as higher numbers, some now go up to 9 instead of the max 5. I have a good system, intel I7 with an nvidia 4060 and 32 GB of ram on win 11. What specific feature do you think might be causing the stutters? Shadow settings? I play dcs on full graphics settings so I would think I could play WOFF on full but somehow I need to find out what might be causing this. The stutter is more obvious when i take off. more closer to the front line its really not noticeable. At any rate, good work team. I am really happy with the new module and wish you great success in sales. It beats Il-2 Flying Circus to a pulp and always has. WOFF has the best enemy friendly/AI going in any WW1 sim , the dynamic campaign, and the amount of flyables and immersion factor is also on top. Becker02 35 Posted November 2 Hallo @WitchyWoman, the most mods from previous version BH&H2 are probably not compatible with OTT, OBD doesn't recomment to use them. If you like a mod for BH&H2 very much, so ask the modder himself. At the moment there are a few mods up to date for OTT, you find the here: WOFF BH&H-II OTT-Mods: There! - 28.10.24 - WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues - CombatACE For graphic settings I absolutely recommend this from @Gecko: Guide to New OTT Lighting and Weather Settings - SimHQ Forums this from @Polovski: Over The Top PC Requirements - SimHQ Forums and from @Rick Rawlings the first video here: Rick Rawlings Let's Play WOFF - Page 5 - WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion - CombatACE Sorry, I have no answer for your micro-stutter (WOFF-graphic-settings, graphic-card-settings?). I hope, it was useful and Greetings!

+Polovski 460 Posted November 4 OTT makes the sim work harder, so you may need to dial back some of the settings a little. Try these then slowly increase Scenery and Terrain. Also Weather System Max Size set to 1 no 2 as below. from a post WM made in our other forum: Over The Top PC Requirements Over The Top, with its cloud rendering and terrain rendering up to 150Km, as well as the new weather system and atmospherics, is naturally very CPU and GPU intensive. So of course it requires significantly more CPU and GPU power to achieve this compared to BH&HII. In terms of running in a similar fashion to the old BH&HII we recommend: Scenery Density : 1 or 2 Terrain Detail : 1 or 2 Render Distance: 50km or max 75km Weather Grid Res : 1 Weather System Max Size : 2 Cloud Render Density : 4 To run at the higher settings now available you really need an up to date sim rig.
