The 184th Tac Ftr Grp, Kansas Air National Guard operated three squadrons of F-16s for several years. However, the aircraft were never marked for the squadrons, all carrying Group or Wing markings instead. After seveal months of research, i've only found 6 C models that were attributed to the 127th TFS. thats only 6.

I would just do them all under the 184th considering each Squadron flew all of the jets, they weren't squadron specific.

it is my thinking and it would mean one skin instead of three

but then the drop down selection is gonna be huge when you go looking for nose arts (ok gear door arts)......

I know it's going to be a long list, especially consider the 184th was the schoolhouse and had over 70 F-16's assigned at one point! I've included this picture of the ramp with most of them on line. I wish I could remember which jets were assigned to which flights; this could be another way of doing it but unfortunately, I don't.

yeah i know

54 is the releatively confirmable single seaters. the two holers will be all one "184th" skin having a dozen more serials. then i have a half dozen that are listed as being Kansas ANG but are a little sketchy imo on actually being there (no pics, timelines in assignments seem a little off)

Sounds as though you're doing this justice!

My father and I were just talking about the F-16 days and how they had so many "assigned". He said there were several on their books but not physically at McConnell due to maintenance, or being on loan to other squadrons etc.

Thanks for this, I'm looking forward to these.
