Materia 0 Posted Sunday at 01:00 PM (edited) Can the AI logic be changed, so they first of all follow the flight plan, and steadily increase the altitude over time, instead of after starting the flight spiraling in one place building altitude and burning the fuel for no reason? With Fokker E1 I have enough fuel for 150 miles estimated, yet in practice even the 34 miles flight results in AI running out of fuel and crashing. Spiraling often wastes 1/3 of fuel, or more. Regardless of what the height is set for the flight, it shouldn't be expected for the AI to be at it since the start and then follow the flight path. Start the flight, follow the path, then gain attitude. Game should also take it into account, and never make me fly a mission that can't be completed. It shouldn't be generating them. I'm flying on auto for most of the time, turning it off only for the combat. e.g. current patrol enemy front (38 miles total) took 28% of initial 100% fuel load while spiraling, flight actually starts with 72%. Burning Beard 17 Posted Sunday at 05:34 PM Hit Shift +W and it will direct you to the next waypoint. I do it all the time, so I just gain my altitude in transit. 1

This, and you can also change altitudes in the pre-mission, so drop the circle up waypoint altitude down a few thousand feet and then they should gradually climb to the next waypoint after that. Good luck!
