I think I've got everything site related back up and running 100%. Please let me know if you encounter any problems. I may have to reboot the machine one more time to change some settings on our private network adaptors but it will be quick. i'll use that time to also test our reboot and back to life settings. A huge thanks to all who are helping out, what a tremendous load off of my shoulders! I have been working day and night since Monday getting ready for this event. Having to move all of our sites and the data associated with them is a huge undertaking. As most of you know when you've changed your own personal machines it just takes time. First it's loading the new OS then installing all your favorite programs and secondly moving all the files associated with them. Finally it's tweeking everything to the way you like it. It's very similar here with one exception. I have to do this all remotely via shell access. No pretty GUI to play around with just a monochrome console screen, so it gets kinda old. I also want to let you know that you're going to experience some down time today and possibly tomorrow. Some of it will be longer than others but all in all I hope to keep things to a minimum. I think if anything the biggest issue we might have are the new IP addresses. Luckily I was able to get them a few days and they have already been populated in the DNS so moving to them *should* be seamless. So the outages are planned, no panicking allowed. Hi - I'm going to move this down to the SF2 general discussions. You will get more help there than in the general section. Also there's a huge help section for the SF forums all your questions can be answered there with a little searching and reading. Past that there's a few different things available to you. First consult the README.txt that should be included with your download. That file will give you all the information you should need to install it. If it's not there or incomplete we recommend that you comment either on the file itself or in the file support area so the author can correct the issues. Hopefully you'll find the help you need.

Back in the day of CFS1 and CFS2 there was a program called BRUNHOST and it was written by a guy who was known around the internet as GunsJammed or RCAF_GunsJmd AKA Michael. If you really want to get irate take that one step further. He's probably drawing off the system, social security, disability, something. A system your and my income pays for. In essence we are paying to be abused by this guy who has no life. It comes full circle, and it's no wonder he's an asshole.

The general sentiment that it's a shame anyone would waste their time and talents like this is all too accurate. MB you're right about anonymity there is none no matter what anyone would like to think. The current legislature in place gives any authority the right to cut through this guy's perceived veil of anonymity he hides behind like a hot knife through warm butter.

Thanks SG. I agree with you but the problem is that he doesn't go elsewhere. He instead resorts to primary school behavior to maintain an account here like he's hacking a firewall to a super node at the IRS. You know he warned in a post he made a few hours ago. Yeah and the sad part is this guy fled so quickly even after all his tough words of reporting me to the FBI for publishing his *public* IP address that's owned by Windstream, not to mention by the very definition of public IP it is considered to be in the public domain. He's literally the biggest troll on the net and from the appearances he's been part of the community and has been for awhile sharing files behind the scenes with people he befriends on various sites. Tormenting the staff here so many different times and ways that they can't even be counted. He throws my name and MK2's name around like we're his allies. Serious mental issues is all I can say and we (the entire community) have put up with it for over three years. He's signed up with so many different accounts trying to get around being banned that he could be the entire database of users at free email sites like yahoo. What really drove this to this level is the hateful and stupid crap he'd PM to various moderators and staff like a stalker, it was really creepy. Now some may think we were cruel and unreasonable but we've tried and tried and offered olive branch after olive tree to satiate this guy to no end. I happily will provide the logs of his interactions here under all his various identities all attached to his various IPs or through his referrer's IP when he used proxies to evade detection. The pages of the logs go on and on for days and while some might think we were unfair I simply offer that his agreement with his service provider comes into question when such violent and spiteful outbursts like these arise. 7.Termination by Us.
