Shuttle Endeavor just flew over Santa Cruz

No I meant going where no man has gone before. Privatizing space flight better have better results than a few round trips to the space station. -

Very nice all due credit to your phone cam considering. The Enterprise ended up in NYC and Endeavour in LA. Very disappointing to see this era of space flight come to an end. I guess now we have to follow SpaceX on their private venture of "going where no man has gone before." -
The Fable Of The Happy Pilot Once upon a time, a pilot asked a beautiful princess, "Will you marry me?" The princess said, "No!" From that moment on the pilot lived happily ever after and flew fighters all over the world and drove hot cars and chased skinny long-legged big-breasted flight attendants and hunted and fished and went to topless bars and dated women half his age and drank Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier and Captain Morgan and never heard bitching and never paid child support or alimony and kept his house and guns and ate cold leftovers, potato chips and beans and blew enormous farts and never got cheated on while he was at work and all his friends and family thought he was friggin' cool. And he had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up. The End.

Need to Change the Fair Use Agreement?
Erik replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I understand this is a sensitive issue. We've worked tirelessly with everyone in the past to come up with the free licensing agreement we have now. It is a dicey situation when anything is released to the public domain as you just never know what's going to happen to it or where it will end up. It's the reason software vendors have gone to phone home applications. Here we simply don't have that option. That said the best person to stay in touch with your mods is you and that's best accomplished just by staying active in the community, which you all do a great job of. I will admit that I approve my fair share of files and I simply don't have the time with these models as you guys do. Most of you can look at an antenna, nose cone, nacelle, tire, skin, or fly shit on the windshield and know it's your model. That is a function of how much time you spend building them. Even if I installed all the software and flew everything for 30 minutes before approving it I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a mirage factory skin and a skin by the german modders team. I'm sure you all understand that very well. I've put a lot of your ideas into place today and reworked a bunch of site skins to make sure that everyone who is uploading or downloading a file sees and has access to relevant threads and discussions about requirements and licensing. I also put up a small concise review of the agreement on the upload page. With all that I think we've done tastefully what we can to make sure everyone knows and sees the information. There really is no reason for anyone to miss it or not see it but someone at sometime will say I never saw it or read it. Please review the changes in the download section and get back to me. -
WOW! Beautiful history. The USS Coral Sea (CV 43) had an amazing 43 years of history 1947-1990. She was decommissioned in 1990, moved to Baltimore in 1993 for scraping which concluded 6 years later in 1999. The USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63), another great battle cat with some 47 years of history (1961-2008). Decommissioned in 2008 she currently resides in Bremerton, Washington. Your Dad has a great eye for history, thank you for sharing these. The HMAS Melbourne (R21) had a very unique but incredible history as well from 1955-1982. I bet your dad has some real stories to share about the Melbourne if he was stationed aboard in the 70's. It would be really amazing just to hear them. Did you know that the Melbourne never fought a battle or was part of one but she still sank two ships? She was brutal when it came to allied vessels. In two similar accidents she sank two destroyers, one in 1964 where she sank the HMAS Voyager (D04) and the second in 1969 where she sank the USS Frank E. Evans (DD-754). I enjoyed reading up on all these vessels and getting to know a little about them all thanks to a few pictures and some history. Thank you and welcome to CombatACE doc. I got this pain in my .... errrrrrrr never mind. USS Coral Sea CV43 USS Kitty Hawk CV63 HMAS Melbourne R21 HMAS Voyager D04 USS Frank E. Evans DD754

I can lead a horse to water but I can't make it drink. SEE THE WATER I would leave it at that for now and continue our process for approval / removal of files. -
