I'm only talking about the this website gents. I don't think Pol' would take too kindly to me offering to rebrand his goods.

I've heard people reporting this but it's my understanding that in order to teach your immune system how to protect your body from the Cornavirus they first have to jump start your immune system. That jump start is the feeling of being sick the day after that's being reported. Now oddly every year I get a flu shot and I get the day after sickness and it's gone by day 2. With the vaccine I didn't even have as much as a sore arm. Our numbers in the US have dropped dramatically which is a great start. Tell your friends, family, and anyone who will listen, if we want to get back to no mask normal everyone should be vaccinated. It's hard to believe there's so much hesitancy and misinformation out there. Glad you're all vaccinated.

Having Alpha Channel problems with TGA files?
Erik replied to LloydNB's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I use Corel PaintShop 2021. The interface makes more sense to me than other graphic editors. The thing I really like is you buy it and it's yours. No messing about with monthly subscription fees, which I loathe. I also have Adobe Fireworks but it's really old now since Adobe stopped developing it forever ago. In fact I probably won't even load that on my next OS. GIMP is great because it's free and for being free it's a little powerhouse. -
Hour hand on cockpit clock not moving.

Oddly enough I went looking for Be2c pits today for the fun of it. I couldn't find a single one of them with a clock on the panel. -

@catch The second hand also looks the same in both images, does it work? -
This is a hypothetical question but I'm curious about your opinions. All things being equal you are an experienced aviator who's flown all the aircraft listed below, all the aircraft were available to you, and you found yourself thrust into WWI at the young age of 19. Which aircraft and version (produced between Jul 28, 1914 – Nov 11, 1918) would you chose / want to fly and why? Bristol Type 22 Sopwith Camel Fokker Eindecker Siemens Schuckert

In the graphics world this is not a slur gents. The demands of the two graphic engines are different. The imagery they both create is amazing, so kudos to both sims. I would stay the firing squad.

Erik replied to Eagle114th's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Yes. You will need an alpha channel (layer) to save the file with a transparency.- 24 replies

Need advice on how to save .tga (for image files with transparent)
Erik replied to Eagle114th's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Targa files require an Alpha layer to define the transparencies in the other layers. Does your image have an Alpha layer? If so export the image as shown above in the Guuru post. If not you will need to create one. Targa images (.tga files) are the only ones that store transparencies like this and they can be a pain in the backside.- 24 replies

The problem with this statement is that it's only supposition and speculation without proof. We know the Chinese were studying Coronaviruses that are commonly found in bats from around the globe. Coronaviruses have been around for decades and many countries' scientists have and are studying them, it's nothing new. Being childish and name calling isn't going to get us any closer to solutions. The viruses current exist in the wild, it was and is only a matter of time. Politicizing the issue either locally or in the WHO isn't going to do anything either. What we needed to do was act like adults and disclose what we knew and then all work together to come up with a solution. What we got was individualized countries each doing their own thing and not having a clue what to do. Meet Dr. Corbett who was instrumental in developing the Covid Vaccine then contrast that with "bleach and UV light into the body".

I like to think the distribution of the Pfizer and Moderna Vaccine around the globe, as our great apology tour. Glad you're all vaccinated and hopefully soon we can return to some type of normal.

Excellent. The Pfizer Vaccine is said to have a more mild second dose. I was given Moderna Vaccine and my second shot is in a few days.

HELP NEEDED
Erik replied to Kirby2012's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
That's an old file with an old link. I've updated the links to the file and within the download you got it from. -
'Wings Over The Reich: War Stories From The Battle Of Britain!'
Erik replied to Blade1's topic in WOTR - General Discussion
Please do not take what I said personally. The content is great that's why I left the original link but removed the others. I tend to be brief but please don't take that as me being rude. I enjoy you guys being here but I also don't want to cut into my golf schedule cleaning up search engines. -
'Wings Over The Reich: War Stories From The Battle Of Britain!'

Saying this with kindness and cheap beer. The many links above are called link bombing and it's not a good thing. Maybe we could post the original content in both places? Thank you -
Welcome back everyone! It is good to see old friends. Since you've been gone some things have changed so let's take a minute to get acquainted with your surroundings. Update Email Address: https://combatace.com/settings/email/ Update Password: https://combatace.com/settings/password/ Update Notifications: https://combatace.com/notifications/options/ Update Profile: Go to your account settings page: https://combatace.com/settings/ on the far right you'll see a link to "Edit Profile" See the images you've stored: https://combatace.com/attachments/ Email: You need a valid email address on record if you loose your password and need to reset it. Invalid emails are now flagged by the system and will require you to update your email address. Password: It's just good habit to change your password regularly. Notifications: You can now be notified on the site here instead of by email or you can elect to not receive any notifications at all. I recommend if you opt out of emails set your notifications to the Notification List option. Notification List will alert you on-site with notifications. We respect your privacy and we won't send spam or marketing material. Your email is safe with us. Profile: The new profiles allow some users to have a personal image banner. It's kind of a neat way to show off a bit. Signatures can also be updated in your profile. I'm sure most of you with system specs aren't running the same old gear from 8 years ago. Attachments: Each user has a storage space allotment on disk. The size of your storage space depends on your group rank. The higher up the group rank you go the larger your storage space is. If you guys have any issues that are site related, not game related, you can always open a support ticket: https://combatace.com/support/ That's it. Be safe and have fun. Erik

BH&H 2 Screenshots and Movies Thread
Erik replied to Polovski's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Here's my theory. A joint strike task force headed by the DGSE with support from MI6 and the CIA confiscated the file. Years of surveillance and counter intelligence went into the planning of mimicking the 2Checkout site and making it look official. The file will be on sale next month in street side merchant kiosks in Pakistan for the low low price of 5000 Pakistani Rupees. I could be wrong and it's just a guess. I'm sure Polovski and the entire team is just as "not happy" about this as you. I read somewhere they were planning an April 1, 2021 release and I know they worked really hard toward that goal. Sit tight gents and remember a watched pot never boils. Cheers! -
Sad but glad DD557 has been positively identified. Last I read a year+ ago they thought they found DD557 but weren't sure. I'm glad they are respecting the final resting place of her crew.

Save your settings by creating a FireFox account. Uninstall FireFox. Restart. Install FireFox. Log into your FireFox account and your bookmarks, and such will re-populate on the new install. Simple

BH&H 2 Screenshots and Movies Thread

Looking in from a distance and remembering those long trips with the parents when I was a kid the "few sleeps" is starting to sound like are we there yet? -
@Becker04 You contacted me about site features but it appears you have another need. Tell me what you need and I'll figure out a way to accommodate it. My answer was generic because I thought it was just a simple question but now I see otherwise. I don't read everything and I don't know everyone personally but I try. Erik

Mark 4 gun pod with single barrel
Erik replied to ravenclaw_007's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
The Mark 4 Mod. 0 HIPEG 20mm gun was the USN version of the USAF SUU-16 / SUU-23. It wasn't used very often in the Vietnam War with the exception of the VAL-4 "Black Ponies" squadron they liked and regularly outfitted it for use on their OV-10 Broncos. The USMC later put the Mark 4 on A-4 Skyhawks, A-6 Intruders, and F-4 Phantoms for close air support. There is also a modified version with different fairings and spent shell chute that was found on the H-34 helicopter. The Mark 4 Mod. 0 (MN 10121a) The GPU-2/A.
