  4. Thanks for the offers yall! Any accounts of the T-6 being used in the 1965 conflict? I would slip a squadron in for Armed Recon fun. Things are moving along. Finished the nodes and ground units. Trying to keep it semi-historical (neither country is gonna get totally steamrolled). Most of the action will take place up north, but I do have a separate node "web" in the south for a little border action (not sure if anything will happen there, might try the "LocalObjective" command?) Now I need to place the squadrons, then test, tweak, repeat; test, tweak, repeat... For 1965 we've got: On one side, - F-86F (PAF) - F-104A - B-57 On the other, - MiG-21FL - Hunter56? - other Hunters? - Vampire FB52 - Folland Gnat - Canberra58 (IAF) Also, if anyone knows which Hunters the IAF would have been flying in the 1965 conflict, let me know. I read that they purchased ex-RAF planes, so I'm working on an assumption of assorted Hunters, F2 thru F6. And did they have the FGA56 during this time?

  8. Very nice work my friend. This is a nice one to play with over the Korea3 map. Are the wingtip tanks supposed to be non-jettisonable? Was that intentional? I'm seeing photos of these without the tanks, but don't I know anything the plane operationally.
  9. I would like to give Paran some SA-6 and SA-8 systems for an '80s campaign. I extracted the USERLIST.INI files for both (and StraightFlush), added: [Paran] ServiceStartYear=1972 ServiceEndYear=2020 Availability=COMMON Neither system is showing up in a 1985 campaign I made. What else do i need to edit?
  10. I've been futzing with this for 2 days, and was wondering if there is another setting for ending a campaign other than a base area being captured. Been working on a 1980 campaign for the infamous Black Sea 2 map, using Baltika's excellent Orange revolution campaign as a template (thanks). I have changed enemy/friendly settings in the _targets.ini, to make a different frontline etc. NATO invades by land from Turkey and by amphibious assault via the Crimea etc. etc... I could not find anything referencing Mar'ivka as any type of base or strategic goal in any file. What am I missing? I have erased all traces of the nation Ukraine, so I don't think the problem has anything to do with that, (it not existing as a nation in 1980).

  12. Wait, is this true? I thought you could finish the ground campaign after sinking the Soviet fleet in NA...
  13. Yes, when I remove all Naval units/make it NavalCampaign=FALSE, it works! So, the problem must lie in the terrain files. Is there an easy way to make a pre-SF2:NA terrain Naval Campaign capable? I could use a carrier airstation as in SF2:V, but I rather like a few naval battles in a campaign...
  14. Ok, Mar'ivka was definitely a red-herring. The campaign always seems to end after the second mission, no matter what I change.
  15. Hmmm... is there a certain order that target areas must be organized in the Terrain\_Targets.ini file? Friendly/Enemy? Airbases? Off-Map airbases? I reorganized it, putting all friendly items first, then all enemy items. The frontline I set gets split up and after the second mission it no longer says "Soviets have captured Mar'ivka. The campaign is over." Now it just says they have achieved their strategic goals, campaign is over, giving no specific location.
  16. Tried changing forcewithinitiative to 1 and 2. Tried changing friendly Base to P'ot'i, which is remote and heavily defended, but it still ends when Soviets capture Mar'ivka. I'm suspecting a typo or misalignment somewhere.

  18. Thank you so much! I couldn't believe it when I saw your post. Haven't tried everything yet, but so far, I like it a lot. Finally I can fly a Mirage with French comms. Huge improvement. Chinese and Arab packs are also most welcome. If you are thinking of doing more, a Hebrew pack for Israel would get my vote.
  19. Agreed. Lots of great stuff. My current fav is the F-80C. The terrain is just superb. I'm wondering when we'll see a campaign?
  20. @sophocles That throttle just looks great. F-5A was such an interesting plane, and in so many services, it deserves this type of attention. @squid I never thought much of the F-5 until I watched that video and then took one for a spin in the Europe '68 campaign. Nice.
