Albatros D.Va(OAW). My interest focuses on the planes themselves so I can't tell you who this is or what unit, hopefully someone else can chime in (or maybe I'll learn in Jack Herris' new book). The fuselage is overpainted an unknown (to me) color. It looks as if they spent some time with it, too, as the coverage is very good compared to the scruff and thinly-applied "washes" of Jasta 11 airplanes in spring 1917. Note: OAW wheel valve stem access hatches were oval. The one we can see on the starboard side is rectangular, so likely this machine had a replacement wheel from a Johannisthal-built Albatros.
Why this thread faded away?
I was searching for Albatros lozenge taping and stumbled upon this old thread...
I have to add (if anyone is still interested) that the taping of the lower wing of the D.5a OAW above seems to be replacement from a Johannisthal plane also.

Thanks Pol!
BTW I'm trying to cycle, in external view, between friendly aircraft? I want to check out the Jasta skins I'm making, in Campaign, not one by one in Quick Combat.
I've tried with Shift+Tab = Next Friendly but nothing happened.

Hi there, I myself returned after many years and the new OTT looks fantastic!
I think the command you're looking for is (Choose tactical display mode - T)
-
Hi friends,
after many years I got back to WOFF with the new OTT expansion.
I have no problem whatsoever with the installation and running, everything looks and feels fantastic!
So I tried to look back to my never ending unfinished skinning projects...
I created some skins with my old Photoshop copy that show up in game normally,
but are twice the size of the default skins (and my old ones too, hahaha!)
Please, remind me the exact DDS specifications of the WOFF skins?
Thank you!
P.S. Never mind I sorted it out, should be DTX1 no alpha.
Happy flying everyone!

Recce Fighters AMI & HAF
The FG was followed by a 3 digit number (the 3 last of the serial) in Hellenic F-104 Gs. It should have been FG-691 most probably.

You hava to press and hold in order to lower and raise the gun.
-
1. Lower gun - Ctrl+G
2. Reload gun - Shift + Ctrl + G
3. Raise Gun - Shift + G
Is the correct proccedure.

Fantastic mission, Rick!
I admire how you ceep your cool against so many opponents!

I figured it out, never mind, thank you!
(I was assigning the axis to Mixture 2 should have been to Mixture 1)
-
I have an old SAITEK Aviator stick...throttle can be split in two axis assignements.
In WOFF PE I had the mixture assigned to the second part of the throttle but in WOFF II I cannot.
Any ideas?

I've downloaded from another pc, installing now, thank you, Pol !

I can't download WOFF BH&H II ( 5 times in a row the download has been terminated before completion)

I used NVIDIA Shadowplay for the first time to take screenshots and found them in a folder named CFS3.
Came on is this CFS3???
Congrats to all the members of the OBD team! :winner:(skin by James 'OvS' Romano with minor tweaks by me)

In my opinion...the padding is mostlly for protection in case of "hard" landings...

What a thread!!!
I was comparing the two photos of D.632/17...
it seems like the upper wing camo is different or my eyes fool me?
On the top photo I see a dark-light-dark combo while on the bottom one, the darker patch seems to be on the center...
or it's pure sky reflections on the glossy doped wing and the subtle shadows, just fool my eyes.

Check out the other side of the coin... a Johannisthal machine, with replacement wheels (check the hatches) and a lower wing (check the cross underside) from an OAW machine...
Lt. Josef Raesch of Jasta 43
P.S. not so sure about the wing though, it's the overpainted balken that's kind of misleading, the OAW cross should be further outwards....
