  1. I just got here the other day and i'm already seeing a veteran leave. While that's somewhat sad, i can perfectly say that i understand the feeling. I had to take breaks from other modding communities i'm part of, and creative process can be slow sometimes, which leads into frustration. Nevertheless, good luck in your new hobbies dude, and thank you for your years of hard work. And if you someday feel the urge to come back, don't hesitate!
  2. I would love to see those! Are they based on real life decals or it is just you having fun?
  3. I wonder how optmized it is; It's made on Unreal 5 after all, and U5 can become quite a mess if poorly handled.
  4. Dunno if it was World of Tanks that started it, but i'm sure War Thunder perfected that (in the worst way possible). The game is designed around teasing the player with newer, cooler stuff that you might just grab if you decide to pay. I closed my wallet and before i noticed, WT became my second job. An unpaid, very frustrating job, that was... I'm glad i found another options. One of those games was Tiny Combat Arena. A lovely indie game i must say, and filled with modded planes, just like SF 2 here.
  5. Well, hello there! I'm jdredalert! Through my life i was always interested in gaming development and modding, but not really into flight games and simulators. This is something that happened fairly recenty, in 2022. I had my first contact with virtual planes playing casual gaems such as Project Wingman and Ace Combat 7. From there, i was slowly but surely discovering more of this amazing world. I played a lot more aviation games in the past few years, from old school classics such as Fleet Defender, Falcon and some of Jane's titles, to more recent stuff such as War Thunder, Nuclear Option and VTOL VR. Right now i'm stuck with a very weak laptop for work, and i found that Strike Fighters games are not only lightweight enough to run flawlessly but also had a very nice flight physics overall and the most important - an active modding community. So here i am, introducing myself. I know we are supposed to post a few times before downloads are allowed, but i hope to stay posting after that. Being a modder myself (having spent the last decade and a half modding Doom primarily), i would love to learn how to tinker with SF2 airplanes.
