  1. U.S. Navy to the rescue!

Hmm? This will be usefull for a myriad of outcomes. CL
  2. U.S. Navy to the rescue!

And we were there together brother. You up in the cross trees with your musket and me bare footed on the gun. Or better yet, all of us to boats on a cutting out detail. CL
  3. U.S. Navy to the rescue!

Unfortunatly I can't stop thinking about the Iranian Hostage Crisis. Hopefully this problem will not be solved by diplomats, lawyers or elected novices of reality, but profesionals. CL
  4. U.S. Navy to the rescue!

Arrgh! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,513258,00.html It looks like this is going to turn into a track meet or even a ballet waist deep in mud. Heineous. CL
  5. U.S. Navy to the rescue!

OK group. I'm trying to sort this out with the predictably week info from the lame stream media. Somaly pirates hijack US registered merchant vessel. Bad. Very bad. Merchant Seamen have some pirates captive. but merchant ship captain still captive. Hmm? Very Interesting. At first news I thought the Alabama might have been a modern Q ship but that does not seem the case. USS Bainbridge comes along to assist? No anouncement on the 1MC, "Borders away. Away all borders" or whatever the command would be now. Bravo Zulu Merchant Marines! I'll keep my gob shut now before I post the CL solution  CL
  6. Zulus! What do you know about Zulus? My all time favorite movie. Bromhead: "Sixty! We dropped at least 60, wouldn't you say?" Adendorff: "That leaves only 3,940." CL
  7. Bomb threat at March ARB

When I had 11% body fat it was genarally a bad idea to get between me and a meal, chow time or not. CL
  8. I just checked Microscale. No joy. It looks like that decal sheet From Hannents has them all. the payload feature on the blackburn bucaneer is kind of a cool resource. I'm tempted to model a pair each with a pair. CL
  9. Sounds Bitchin'. Cool Link! CL
  10. Maurice Jarre Deceased

He Did the music scores for the epic Dr Zhivago and 2 of my favorite movies. Lawrence of Arabia and the Man Who Would Be King. CL
  11. Splendid! I always thought Dhimar should scoop up some of those birds. CL
  12. OK Gruppe, This is what I know about USAnian aircraft involved in wildland fire suppression and WOX. Here is what we have: AirTankers: A-26 Invader B-25 Mitchal PB4Y Priviteer C-119 C-130 Hercules F7F Tigercat S-2 Tracker TBF Avenger P-3 Orion Air Attack / Lead Planes: Beachcraft King Air OV-10 Bronco AH-1 Cobra Jump Ships: DC-3 / C-47 Helos: Bell jet ranger H-34 Seahorse H-3 Seaking UH-1 and beyond UH-60 Xxxhawk No Have: Airtankers: Airtractor AT-802F Single Engine Air Tanker (SEATS) AJ Savage B-17 Flying Fortress DC-4, DC-6, DC-7 Lockheed Electra P-2V Neptune De Havilland Otter or Beaver (The Great Lakes best kept secret) PBY Catalina Martin Mars Jump Ships: De Havilland Sherpa De Havilland Twin Otter Helos: H-46 Seaknight H-47 Chinook H-54 Sky Crane Perhaps I've missed a couple. Thats a pretty bitchin' head start for anybody starting a new mod. Count me in when the SEATs gets moded. CL
  13. Splendid Kite! I just may have to start flying in the 1990s  CL
  14. Sorry about the intensity Gruppe! A landing mission would probably be appropriate and probably an eye opener. I didn't want to suggest it as a target because of the 2 losses. Sugar! Who am I to keep anybody from getting what they want. CL
  15. perhaps we should try this one folder at a time. first question please.
  16. Just what Jarhead said: Sierra Hotel! CL
  17. H.E. Double Hockey Sticks NO! Why are we yammering about this when we don't have a proper or adequate COIN campaign or even a bitchin' trash hauling mission in a C-130? Space Sims are cool, but I believe where the F-104, U-2 and SR-171, can't go, it does'nt belong here. If it does then so does a drivable PBR for WOV. I'm irritated but keep thinking gruppe. CL
  18. The Person Below Me

False! 7.62 holes leave invisible souls. The person below me believes gun control is the shooters ability to put boat tail hollow points on target. CL
  19. U.S. Eyes Super Tucano for SpecOps Work

Yup, why take something off the shelf that works when you can spend gobs of money and time on the unknown. Perhaps one of these with a GAU-XX in the hull for close support in the littoral battlefield. CL
  20. U.S. Eyes Super Tucano for SpecOps Work

Don't distract the managers and planners who niether manage or plan with the facts or reality. CL
  21. U.S. Eyes Super Tucano for SpecOps Work

Yup. I kept thinking about the Hummer and the COD / ole rubber gulf and Miss Piggy. Good thing the canoe club isn't looking at these 2 exploding cigars: I have no working knowledge about the splendid super tucano. I know blackwater operates one. If I was to buy /build COIN fighters as a planner / manager, I'd start with T-28Ds or F6Fs. Both way old and without the benefit of a gas turbine powerplant. CL
  22. I'm pinging on Corktip, Royohboy, HrntFixr, and Syrinx for some US Navy US Marine Corps skins for Razbam's splendid A-1E. The blue and grey team would fiercly apriciate them. Perhaps a fictional TRIM skin too. Thanks group  CL
  23. Splendid skins. Any plans for one in Gull Grey? CL
  24. U.S. Eyes Super Tucano for SpecOps Work

My ears are burnin'. Imagine My Surprise! I thought the USN was totaly commited to multi engines. My perception is that the USN is working on reducing the bird farm to 3 aircraft types. The hornet, 737, and ditchhawk. This is exciting tho. I hope the squadron is commisioned as VAL-4. I can't wait for the Mirage Factory Tucano and the "Imminent Fury" campaign. I always thot the Navy should of kept thier Black Ponies. CL
