If it's not engine Newtons, then I think you're on the right track with propeller efficiency. Also, what altitude did this occur at? I don't have these Spits. Is it possible something is messed up in the AltitudeTableData of the engine? No idea what the PropEfficiencyAdvanceRatioTableData= does, Brain. But, I think when I get home from work today, I'll mess with one on the stock Spits, just to see what happens when you mess with it. I learned a long time ago that that's what // is for. So I restore whatever I break messing around...

Just looped a 109e3 8 consecutive loops after takeoff. Using Baffmeister's data.ini, which is the BEST out there. Definitely going to find my July 2012 SF2NA installer (I lost all the other July 2012 installers except SF2 Europe and SF2 V) and see if WW2 will run off just that. Can't stand the arcade crap when it comes to flight models. ps. A good discovery. Just hooked one of my old computers up to my monitor to check, and I have my old May 2012 installations intact on that computer. The only ones missing are SF2 (which I bought after August 2012 and probably won't miss) and SF2NA, which I do have a pure July 2012 installer for. So, it's time for some rebuilding, but it'll be worth it, because at least I'll have flight models worthy of the work that Baffmeister, Fubar, and others put into them. Hats off to all the flight modelers here, at least they believe in accuracy, as much as that's possible in the Strike Fighters world. Now I a happy camper. Just wondering what's next in the Thirdwire world though, fly through a yellow circle in the sky, hear a chime, and all your missiles magically reappear? Leveling up?

Layers, layers, and more layers. Must have layers....

Just experimenting. Trying to learn techniques...

The only gimp tutorial I ever saw on the subject had you create two layers, one small letter, or number, the other layer a larger letter, or number underneath it, on the second layer. Never tried it, as it seemed a rather tedious way to do it.

I really just don't feel like doing the July dance right now. Just got married (second time) three weeks ago, Sunday, so I have other things to occupy my time right now.

I hadn't check my Korea install in some time, not since updating to the May 2013 patch. Sure enough, the village idiot took one of the best flight models for the Mig 15 bis I've seen in a very long time and dumbed it down for the I want arcade crowd. Screw this. I'm getting away from all this for a while. This sim is too frustrating to continue with.

Are the collision points in an aircraft's data.ini tied to the lod in any way? Or can you change them at will?

I think he means the DAT Camel. It has a spinny generator. I haven't used it in quite some time, but it never caused any problems for me.
