  1. This speaks a thousand words about the missile, jeeze its like an aerial ferret!! Some scenes in this real world film look eerily familiar!!!
  2. Hi all, I am looking for the line of text that determins the droop of the wings ahedral? On the GR1 model and most others the wings are 'over drooped' when fully swept actually passing the level of the horizontal stabs. It's cracking me up trying to find the line that does it. If it is there.
  3. Excellent, many thanks.
  4. Yeah that looks much better.... soooo how'd ya do it? AAnd how can I get it?
  5. Can the wings be adjusted so that they are less drooping, they drop past the horizontal stabs which is not found on the real item, should be easy to do?
  6. HOLY Brimstone! Must See!

These are what the Lybians are sucking up at the moment, they will testify to the effectivness of BRIMSTONE.
  7. I thought as much, oh well droopy Tornados are here to stay!!!
  8. I am looking for the operation desert storm mod, anyone know where it is?
  9. SF2: Modern Warfare Korea V1.03 Part1

Its hard to believe this is 'free', top quality.
  10. SF2: Modern Warfare Korea V1.03 Part1

This is a very well constructed game, harder than the standard in my opinion, which is good! Very impressed. If this were on a shop shelf I'd buy it, no problem.
  11. Hi Guys, I seem to be in trouble more often than not. This time I installed the Classified secret mission and screwed up the game. So I thought I would delete the whole mod folder and that would be that, but now no matter what I do I always end up in the air with default settings, don't matter what I set them to it goes the same way.
  12. Help Again!

Just done another install and it is working again, should have worked after first install but hey

  14. Help Again!

Nope all regular there, have tried 4 times renaming the thirdwire folder to force a new one created, just in case, also rebooted. Perplexed.
  15. Help Again!

No I fully accept pilot error on the install but at this stage I have gone full circle and installed everything again from scratch but still no response from the settings. This could not be because of the mission download, It's long gone now. [Pilot] LastName=Pilot FirstName=Ace Callsign=Phantom Service=USAF [Options] Section=0 [GameplayOptions] MissionStart=2 CockpitView=1 DisplayUnit=1 EnemySkill=2 Simulation=3 FlightModel=2 WeaponEffectiveness=1 Avionics=1 Targeting=0 HUDDisplay=2 Landing=2 Collision=2 Blackout=0 AmmoUsage=1 FuelUsage=2 I mean look this should work, right?

  17. Hi guys I am running into brick walls attempting to do a total merged install, everything seems to need to be installed before the other, so there must be a magic sequence to install each game (I have all games). Can someone tell em or point to an existing thread? Please and Thank-you in advance.
  18. Order of install?

Thanks all, sorted now. Just got to deal with the crash to windows now, seems to happen when close to target?
  19. Hi Guys something really strange has started to happen when I run any of the SF2 programs. Even at the first menu screen my CPU usage soars to 30% and this is with a 3GHz quad core!!! The mouse becomes laggy and if I get in game, to the sim proper, the control becomes laggy but the flow of the sim as a whole does not. Then it will crash the PC, hang up. I have two installs on two different HD's, they are both doing this, one is modded with the vietnam exp pavk but the other is clean and original. Any ideas?
  20. Had a total nightmare mission in an F4 on the Desert terrain. Managed to get the tail fin shot off over target, fought on downed some enemy then flew back manually in real time nursing the plane back to base. It took ages and with force feedback I had an aching arm to boot. BUT, whenever the mission report came up apparently I died over the target!? Never made it back!? Gutted.
  21. Hi All I was having fun with the EF2000 Typhoon model and decided to mod the weapon load to allow me to carry air to air ordnance on all pylons. I added the required entries into the dat file i.e. AHM,SAHM,IRM,2IR.... what happens when on the game loadout screen is that the IRM missiles will load 2x2 or 4x4 onto the pair of pylons but the SAHM and AHM missiles will only load 1 (onto 2 stations)??? Thinking it was a weight issue I increased the weight limit on the pylons to 200% of the required load, but still the station group will only offer 1 missile for loading onto a pair of pylons. Have tried to tinker with it by grouping 4 pylons together and various combinations but nothing will work. Station group 2 and 5 WILL load a pair of SAHM and AHM as will the AMRAM station group 1 3 and 4 will not load a pair instead only offering a single missile. air to ground weapons are not affected and load correctly. Have had this problem before on other models too comming to think about it. Got the feeling there is more to this than I am aware of, time to ask for help. Help! 22. Just as a side note it often baffled me as to why fighters had all those pylons, but could only carry air to air stores on half of them, especially in the Vietnam War. The stories from the pilots always refer to 'running out of missiles' during combat without guns, yet they had empty hard points all over the place. As a result of this personal annoyance I invariably change pylons on models here to carry air to air.
  23. Proof of the pudding. Thanks again, now I can engage in air to air combat with an unreasonably large payload!!!
  24. By Jove! well spotted Sir!! Many thanks to all involved in this thread, much appreciated.
