  4. I have a question for the campaign and terrain gurus that hang around here, would it be possible to create the Ho Chi Minh trails in WOV? Have been looking at the VIETNAMSEA_MOVEMENT.INI and comparing it to the names on the VIETNAMSEA_MAP2.BMP, and as far as I can see no truck routes come anywhere near South Vietnam. So I am thinking that frontlines could be a problem? Any thoughts or ideas would be very welcome. Cheers Snapper 21
  5. Hi comrpnt Thanks for the info. Had a look at wov targets, there is only an activation year, tried a inactivation year but the airbase I created didn't go away! This was all in single mission, but as I was placing it on the game map, campaign should be in theory the same. WOI does have an InactiveDate field so maybe in the next patch Anyway, have been playing around with the current game, if I didn't have the red square, could i find the trucks?

  7. Hi comrpnt On your target area you have the following lines ActiveDate=04/01/1965 InactiveDate=04/30/1965 Have not seen these before only "ActiveDate=1965". Have you used your format for campaigns? Because I noticed in the target.ini places like Khe Sanh are only target areas. If your way works then places like Khe Sanh could be built on the map and wouldnt get in the way of other campaigns. Just a thought. Cheers Snapper 21
  8. Hi All Have been looking through the WOV targets ini, and looking at the map in Le Missionneur trying to find my way around Vietnam. While I could easily find airfields and harbours etc there were some targets listed that I had no idea where they were. Now I hope that someone is not going to tell me there is an easier way of doing this( ), but I have created a mission in Le Missionneur with each of the 124 targets marked by a ZPU-4. So if you are trying to find Kontum, because it is a friendly target area near Pleiku then this is the job for you. Please let someone find this useful! The Best way to use this mission is to open it in Le Missionneur then click on the "Choose units to show/hide" icon 4th in from the top right turn off all missions. Then find the location required in the list on the left hand side of the window under ground missions right click and make it visible. By the way has anyone got the VIETNAMSEA_MAP2.BMP from WOV with the nation borders drawn on it? This would make my life so much easier!   11. I was thinking the truck routes would be joined by truck parks, this would mean placing a few huts together with maybe a few AA guns on the map. One question how do armed recon missions work? Does the game work out the waypoints to the trucks or the truck route. Would a long truck route mean you had to do a bit of hunting?

  18. Thanks Wrench Am playing around with the MIG 25BM, I read that they usually flew with a 5300 litre fuel tank. A second question I have is that I have modified in the data file the load limit on the weapons station to 650 so I can use the Kh-58. I can select it in the loadout screen but even though I have in the loadout file in never loads automatically. Any ideas? Cheers Snapper 21

  22. Well theres no template around for the F-111, so am trying to extract the panel lines from a standing paint scheme. Have got a two layer psd main colour on one and panel lines on another.   25. Hi FastCargo That looks just stunning if I didn't know better I would have thought that was part of the original model. Tried to paint the Raven myself, but a kid with crayons could do better!
