Hi have just been knocking down Mig 29s in my F-4 when I noticed the Russian planes didnt have any missiles loaded, oh well war is Hell! Now I know what I have to do that is change the loadout file to read Russian names not NATO. My question is this do I have to change the bombs and air to ground missiles as well? Cheers Snapper 21

Hi USAFMTL read your post on SimHQ about the B1 had the same thought myself. But am not sure you could handle all that power at low level! For some practice I think you should re-enact the B52 airfield strike in Tom Clancys Red Storm Rising book. Using the Malvinas map you could take off from Argentina and bomb a Mig 29 infested Mount Pleasant airport. Its just a pity we haven’t got the F111 Raven to do the jamming, think the F-4G will do the round trip with three drop tanks! Thanks Caesar, sorry but now have another question, I put the TARPS pod on the first Phoenix pylon, which reding your reply sounds wrong, does Tarps sit on the centerline or is it in a position similar to rear Phoenix pylon Cheers Dont worry have found this: TARPS is carried on the right rear fuselage tunnel station. The pod requires additional control, power, and environmental control connections, and so Tomcats had to be specially modified to carry it, with about 50 aircraft given TARPS capability. The modifications did not rule out carriage of the Phoenix on that station. The system is controlled by the RIO in the back seat who has a specialized TARPS display to observe reconnaissance data, though the pilot does have a camera on-off switch on his stick as well. AAMs can still be carried on the wing glove pylons for self-defense

Hi have now got the TARPs pod showing up on my F14A, Beauty! Does anybody know if the F14 would carry any sparrows on its belly pylons as well as the TARPS pod? Cheers

Me thinks the A6 had CCIP, bring on Flight Of The Intruder and those damn truck parks I could never hit even with CCIP. Have read that you cant have ground radar with CCIP it would be a shame to lose Terrain Avoidance though I dint know how useful it is in the game.

Thanks for that didnt know if I was doing something wrong, does that mean that all BVR missiles need to be fire in visual range? ie the AIM 54 on the Tomcat havent been able to lock onto a radar target beyond the 10nm boresight range.

Hi everyone I would like to create some anti shipping missions using weapons like the harpoon and exocet attacking beyond visual range but cannot find a way of locking onto ships. Is it possible in the game to lock onto a target this way? If not is this going to be fixed at anytime, or in later versions of the game? Thanks For Your Help Snapper 21

Hi everyone, I have downloaded the new weapons pack and have installed it in my Wings over Vietnam game and everything seems to work fine. Have also installed in a second version lots of modern aircraft, when I go to the create mission screen and select say A-10 no date comes up, I thought I had read somewhere this can be changed, does anybodu know what file I change?
