I'm messing around with a custom campaign and i can't get the flyable attack squadrons to load bombs by default. Each Mission i have to load them manually. Can anyone tell me whats wrong? I don't have SFP1, but i have WOV,WOE,FE and WOI, Did you use the b version of the patch? Not sure about SFP1 but a second version of most TW patches was made for the reason of trees not showing up. -

I think it looks great! I was wondering how to do the wingtip missiles also, glad to see you got them loaded! I'm sure someone here can tell you how to add the launch rails. There might also be a way to create a rounded 3d shape and place it over top of the square intake and it would be a almost perfect Lavi look-alike. If you can get the launch rails and intake sorted i would say release it as a Lavi, even if not you could include the INI files with the skin. Amazing Job! -
That was pretty dumb. These days i don't discount anyones stupidity level but he probably wanted to know if that was the plane that transported the body after he was shot.

Thank You! That was the problem, but i didn't do it with the Weapons Editor, The Download we have called sovietsams.rar has the wrong info in the "add in WEAPONDATA.INI.txt" It has the attachment types listed as SOVIET. It was easy to fix, Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! -
MigBuster is right, I don't have F4AF installed right now, but all you need to do is find the file named ValidAC. (Something, DAT i think) and rename it to anything else and all aircraft will be available.

The release of the fictional Lavi skin caused me to create a Monster! I downloaded and installed the skin but i soon realized that it still wasn't a Lavi, so i started doing my homework and i adjusted the dry weight,weapons stations and upgraded the Radar. Then i learned about the Engine IAI intended to use, the Pratt & Whitney PW1120. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pratt_&_Whitney_PW1120 Wow! Why wasn't this engine mass produced?? I know it was expensive, but IMHO the IAF and USAF could have both used this beast of an engine. I started with the F-15As Pratt & Whitney F-100 and crunched the numbers and After i fitted it to the J-10/Lavi i noticed a major performance boost. Then i decided to make a copy of the Mirage Factorys F-4E Kurnass and fitted it with a few upgrades and a pair of these engines to simulate the Kurnass 2000 and I was able to super cruise at 68% throttle at 25000 ft! The Kurnass 2000 ended up sticking with the J-79s, but the PW1120 was the intended engine. Its not perfect, I still need to reduce fuel consumption and there might still be a mistake or two but Here is the Version i'm using in my Lavi in case anyone wants to play around with it, feel free to correct any of my errors and i'd love to hear what you think. If your going to put this engine in a F-4 (Or any other plane) you will have to change some of the data to match the engines you are replacing or else it the animation won't work right or the thrust/exhaust will come from the wrong place,Its easy, you just have to compare the old with the new... My question is how do we keep the game from loading SAMs onto aircraft? I had to pull the SA-13 from the game because i kept running into Migs that were using it as an A2A missile. Also, I am glad that the RCS was fixed, i have been wondering if TK had taken time to look into that. Its great news that it works right now! -

I read your link and i agree it is faked, probably with an RC plane, but i think in those last 2 or 3 seconds that is a real airplane when the canopy opens, the footage spliced together very nicely. If you notice, you can't see the right side where the wing should have been missing, but you can see the shadow and from the looks of the shadow, the right wing is still there. Only other thing i can think of is its all CGI, and very good CGI, but i'm still betting on an RC plane because of the landing and the fact that an RC plane can fly without a wing on engine power alone, I have seen them hover like a chopper just using thrust to keep them airborne.

LOL! I'm from Florida, I've seen this IRL. I still prefer a rod and reel though, between snakes,gators and the rare bull shark i'd rather stay dry when i fish.

I'd agree if it was a child, but she was not in a crowded area, She looks to be an adult and we all gotta start somewhere. i don't know anyone whose first shot from a 12 Gauge didn't surprise the crap outta them. Although i doubt her "friend" told her what to expect or else she would not have ended up on her butt. so yeah, maybe he was being stupid.

Don't let them get to ya Spectre. I want a Lavi also, I was kinda disappointed when WOI did not have one. I know it was canceled but it was canceled due to cost and political reasons more than its ability. It was expensive and the US did not want it competing with the F-16 in the export market because it was almost an even match for the Viper. Maybe one day a modder will release one, until then your stand-in looks pretty cool! -
Has anyone tried to add a rifle to the balloons in FE? i have tried a few ideas so far but nothing has worked. I think it would be realistic if the observers were armed with something, so i tried adding a Mauser and Lee Enfield to the Gundata.ini and tweaking the Data inis for the Caquot and Drachen but i can't get them to fire. It would have to be a very low rate of fire and mostly harmless, but there would still be that one in a million chance that the pilot or engine would be hit.

Wow, That actually brought a tear to my eye. God Bless these guys, its good to know some people still do the right thing! As for those WBC jerks, Sure they have every right to protest, but a funeral is not the place to do it. The Fallen and there Familys deserve better than that.

Even for being BS about losing the wing, that was one hell of a landing. It almost looked like a RC plane touching down, if not for the canopy opening and the pilot moving around i would have sworn the whole thing was faked. I'm still not quite sure how much of that clip was movie magic and what was real, but a cool clip none the less!
