  1. At the moment, I have four planned. Two will be remakes set in 1974 and 1997 respectively. Two new ones will be in late 1970s and middle of 1980s.
  2. Ravenclaw, you are an artist!
  3. File Name: TSF Saab 18 Flygvapnet Package File Submitter: JonathanRL File Submitted: 06 January 2016 File Category: Other Saab 18 by The Scandinavian Front & Friends. The SAAB 18 was a twin-engine bomber and reconnaissance aircraft, designed and built for use by the Swedish Air Force by Svenska Aeroplan AB (SAAB) in response to a 1938 design competition. Due to delays, it did not enter service until 1944, but quickly became the standard Swedish bomber aircraft. Serving in the bomber, reconnaissance and ground-attack roles, it also assisted in the development of ejection seats and air-to-surface guided missiles until its replacement by the Saab Lansen in the late 1950s. This package contains two Flyable Aircraft. Saab B 18B An upgraded version of the B 18A powered by the Daimler-Benz Engine. Saw most use during the post-war years. Armed with 1x 20mm BOFORS Cannon and a 13mm BOFORS Machinegun. The aircraft is equipped with a bomb sight. Saab T 18B Torpedo & Maritime Patrol Aircraft, first planned to carry a torpedo. As no suitable torpedo was found, the aircraft was redesigned as a ground attack aircraft with a 57mm BOFORS Cannon replacing the bomb bay alongside the Cannon and Machinegun as well as rockets and smaller bombs. The Aircraft is equipped with a bomb sight. INSTALLATION: Install it into the Mod Folder of you choice. Have fun! 4. TSF Saab 37 Viggen(*) Flygvapnet Package

Sorry but Capun has for about two years now refused to let me use his Viggens for TSF. Making sure others can use them with realistic settings is the most I can do.

  6. I was almost certain that you upgraded the flight model around the same time Paulopanz upgraded the skins. Oh well, even the best of us could be wrong :P
  7. No, this is me getting sick of all the inaccuracies present in Capuns Viggen. Out of the loadouts (that has been checked by former pilots), there is now only one tiny mistake instead of all of them.
  8. Its on the table but I need voice actors for that.
  9. Saab J 15 Stormvinden During the pre-war year of 1939, Sweden found themselves in a high demand of Fighters to augment its outdated Air Force but found itself unable to buy them save from inferior and outdated models. As the Phony War begun, the United Kingdom begun in earnest to produce the popular Bofors Anti-Aircraft Gun instead of focusing on their own models without having the licence to do so from Bofors. In revenge, Bofors arranged for some of their contacts in the United Kingdom to provide the Swedish Government with plans for the modern British aircraft "Defiant" and "Hurricane". While some proposed that the Defiant would be the better and more modern choice, Saab was given the task to produce the Hurricane but improve where they could. Finding little to improve upon, most of the aircraft was kept intact save for the weapons - the eight machineguns was replaced by the newly developed Swedish 13mm machineguns giving the aircraft a somewhat heavier punch. The Camo Pattern was also kept but with different colours - one scheme for summer and one for winter operations. Deliveries begun to outfit the Figther section of F 11 Nyköping and F 21 Luleå in early 1941. During the summer of 1941 and throughout the Finnish Continuation War, Saab continued to produce the model for the Finnish Air Force where it performed with satisfaction, earning a 7 to 1 Kill Ratio against Soviet Aircraft. The Hawker Company issued a formal protest against this pirated version in 1944 and demanded licences fees but the note was ignored by both Saab and Swedish Authorities and the demand has yet to be met even until this day.
  10. Nah :D I just have the desire to do Swedish Stuff (All recent TSF stuff has been released at the start of the year, TSF 2, Exp 1...) so now when I am still waiting for a Viggen I do other stuff instead - including a bunch of What-If Stuff...
  11. A 40 Valkyrie As the Development of the A-10 Warthhog was concluded by Fairchild, there where real fears at the company that the airplane would be a mere stopgap in order to make room for the planned A 16 Falcon, a dedicated attack version of the Fighting Falcon. As such, Fairchild begun looking for possible export customers - at first against the wishes of the Department of Defence. While some countries - mainly West Germany and Israel - expressed some interest no deal was ever concluded despite negotiations going well. As both the Air Force and the Army started to feel like they would rather just keep their new ugly Warthogs, Fairchild got an offer from Sweden for 26 Aircraft to complement their new JAS Program of Fighters who would suffer from most of the usual swing and multi role issues - mainly lack of "toolbox" armament and loiter time - but also the fear that the Gripens would be seen as fighters first by their pilots. As such, the Air Force considered a cadre of veterans from the AJ 37 Viggen and new recruits who would form an elite anti-surface and CAS support group. Due to Swedens secret NATO connections, the deal was approved despite the Prime Minister of Sweden Olof Palme being openly against it with some commentators suggesting this is why Sweden was allowed to be the only export customer of the Warthog - because it would annoy Palme. In 1985, the first of the newly christened A 40 Valkyrie arrived at the Swedish Airbase of Tullinge to begin duty and deliveries was concluded at the end of 1987. They proved popular with pilots and planespotters due to their ability to fly low. The morale of the army also improved with this new addition that was purchased by the Air Force simply to assist their efforts in battle. As of 2015, the A 40, upgraded to A 40B Status and painted in new, black paint jobs to replace their splinter camos are still in service with no plans to replace - or even reduce their numbers - yet.
  12. JAS 39A Tigerhajen; F 18 Tullinge 1985 JAS 39C Tigerhajen; F 21 Luleå 2014
  13. Valkyrie felt better since they rode on flying horses with the troops and decided who would live and who would die...
  14. Mjolnir is a weapon system in Sweden - a Ranged Cluster Munition; perfect for this bird but since its already on something, the bird cannot be named that. And no, no Dragon noseart. Swedes usually keep their art on the fin or below the cockpit.
  15. In order not to break Spinners Swedish Streak... The Saab 38 (also known as B3LA or A 38/Sk 38) was a single-engine jet trainer and attack aircraft planned by Saab during the 1970s. The project was a collaboration between Saab and the Italian aircraft manufacturer Aermacchi.[citation needed] It was to replace the older Saab 105 jet trainer in the Swedish Air Force, but the aircraft never got past the drawing board and was canceled in 1979 in favour of the more advanced Saab JAS 39 Gripen fighter. Bonus:
  16. Allow me to cheer in your general direction. If I ever get a Viggen, Stuff like this is going to help out immensly for TSF: Exp 2.

New Flyable Aircraft: F 16AM Falcon, F 18 Hornet, J 32E Lansen , The J 35J Draken, Danish & Finnish Drakens, SK-16 & Helikopter 15B amongst others, the Helicopter with its own Visby Operations Mission! Made to resemble a larger battle that does not go deeper into a full blown war. Campaign Name: Midvintermörker Year: 2012 Flyable Services: Swedish Air Force Naval Combat: In a manner of speaking Ground War Scale: Small What to expect: Based on a novel by Lars Wilderäng. The ultimate pilots challenge as you fight to retake Gotland from a Russian Invasion Force. Survival is your goal. Campaign Name: Operation Mannerheims Sköld 2014 Year: 2014 Flyable Services: Swedish Air Force, Finnish Air Force, Norwegian Air Force Naval Combat: Yes Ground War Scale: Large What to expect: The Total War in Scandinavia. A long campaign, where no stops will be pulled in order to succeed in the battle. Large air battles, air assaults and intense dogfights are on the schedule. Just with modern aircraft and adjusted accordingly. Gets very interesting as both sides start to run low on supply and have to risk losing missions to preserve their aircraft. Installation: This mod requires SF2: Europe. SF2 North Atlantic, Expansion Pack 1 and DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter is highly recommended. First of all, make sure you are using SF2: Europe and that it is patched to the latest version. This is _vital_. Check http://www.thirdwire.com if you are unsure what the latest patch is, but the game should notify you if there is new patches out. Delete ANY PRIOR TSF MOD INSTALLATION! This is vital as items has been renamed, moved or otherwise changed. If you are using a mod, or plan to use one, TSF will mess around with settings other mods may be using. As such, creating a seperate mod folder for TSF is a good idea. If you only plan to use TSF, then this step can be bypassed. Go to your installation folder (Usually C:\Program Files\Thirdwire\Strike Fighters 2). Make a copy of Strike Fighters 2.exe / Strike Fighters 2 Europe.exe depending on what you prefer and got installed. Name the Copy Strike Fighters 2 TSF.exe . Start your new .exe once, then close the game. Now go to your Mod Folders. For Windows 7/Vista, this is located in C:\Users\Name\Saved Games\Thirdwire. For Windows XP Users, it is usually in My Documents. Unzip the contents of the 7zip files "TSF2" into the mod folder of your choice. Allow any overwrites. If you do not own Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic, then unzip "Unzip if you do not have SF2: NA.7z". Read the Readme included and follow it to the letter. If you own Strike Figthers 2 Expansion Pack 1, unzip Install if you have SF2 Israel Expansion Pack 1.7z". Allow any overwrites. If you own DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter, unzip "Install if you have DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter.7z". Allow any overwrites. (Please read the included Credits file. I could not do what I do without the lovely people who helped me by allowing me to use their work!) Click here to download this file
