  1. Who Is Going To Be Playing Battlefield 4?

Pre-ordered. First game since BC2 I will not go to a midnight opening for. I do not feel BF4 is sufficiently new to warrant it. Not the way BF3 was.
  2. I solved the opposition by putting USMC as OPFOR. Perfect for anybody with the DLC F-21 !
  3. Version 1.003

Please note: This is Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force) JAS Gripen only. You are recommended to create new folders for the Hungarian, Czech and South African versions as this one will overwrite settings allowing them to show up in Campaigns. The Saab JAS 39 Gripen (griffin) is a lightweight single-engine multirole fighter manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab. It was designed to replace the Saab 35 Draken and 37 Viggen in the Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet). The Gripen has a delta wing and canard configuration with relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire technology. It is powered by the Volvo-Flygmotor RM12 engine, a derivative of the General Electric F404, and has a top speed of Mach 2. Later aircraft are equipped for in-flight refuelling; most of the export aircraft have been designed to be compatible with NATO interoperability standards. This package contains four Aircraft with correct serials, year-specific loadouts and correct weapons for the Swedish Air Force. JAS 39A: The initial fighter version that entered service with the Swedish Air Force in 1996. A modification program has started and 31 of these will be upgraded to C/D standard. JAS 39B: The two-seat version of the A variant. It is 0.66 m (2 ft 2 in) longer than the single seat version. The rear cockpit does not have a HUD, but an image from the front cockpit HUD can be presented on the rear cockpit flight data display; version has reduced fuel load and no internal gun. Training variant; Little to no operational capacity. JAS 39C: The NATO-compatible version of Gripen with extended capabilities in terms of armament, electronics, etc. It uses large colour displays with English language, feet and knots instead of meters and km/h. This variant can also be refuelled in flight. JAS 39D: The two-seat version of the C variant; otherwise similar to the B variant. Training variant; Little to no operational capacity. 5. New file uploaded; awaiting approval. This fix will add new high quality weapons by Volker (Ravenclaw007) and fix minor loadout bugs. EDIT: And just when the update was approved, I found another loadout bug. I should be banned from modding before coffee!
  6. ...and sent me a little gift ;-) I do not even mind the fact that it is a little too tight across the chest (Less modding, more exercise!). The gesture is awesome.
  7. Syrian MiG-29 apparently in action

Well, Afganistan shows some progress. The Taliban is leaving the Ice Cream factories well alone; even allowing deliveries to pass with the only toll being an ice cream cone! I am actually not joking.
  8. Syrian MiG-29 apparently in action

I think he is becoming more confident. One of the things that led the world to intervene against Khadaffi was the use of Warplanes against cities. Assad tried to use less obvious routes of terror, but now he knows the world just ain´t going to care - so he brings out the big guns. With Turkey intercepting anything that flies to close, having Fulcrums in the air is also a strong signal. And Russia will keep giving him ammo and spare parts.
  9. There are some really nice ones there!
  10. Heard it before. Challenge accepted.
  11. Now hes gone................

About time. I got a new laptop with W8 two days back.
  12. If you are into Saab Aircraft, I strongly recommend my own little project, The Scandinavian Front. http://combatace.com/files/file/12979-the-scandinavian-front-mega-package-part-1/ http://combatace.com/files/file/12980-the-scandinavian-front-mega-package-part-2/ Requires SF2: E and SF2: NA
  13. This is my wish as well, but a early 50s Campaign would require at least the J-21 in both configurations and the B-18 on the Swedish side. Regardless, since I think it would be fun as well, I shall see what I can do. And if somebody mentions "J-21 is on DAT", I am going to force YOU to write the letter to C asking for it.
  14. I for one see a "TSF - Invasion of Norway" scenario in the late 60s as a good one ;-)
  15. Well, my dear Tool. You do that - you are going to have a Campaign writer for it. I assure you.
  16. Good work :) Still has not got a skin for it tough.
  17. Tom Clancy Dies at Age 66

Please note that everything in the Ryanverse after Teeth of the Tiger and Red Rabbit was ghost written and not written by Clancy. As it stands, the original Ryan Books - esp Rainbow Six and Hunt for Red October - are great classics in my world. I will always have a copy at home and I will read them at least once a year.
  18. BF4 Beta Released

The purpose of a Beta is to hammer out the bugs. Optimization can be really, really tricky to make it work on different machines. That is why one has a Beta. Many seems to think it is some kind of glorified Demo.
  19. What would you do if you found $42,000

I can with complete honesty say that if I where homeless, I doubt very much I would have returned the money. I am glad his honesty paid off in this case!
  20. Sorry, but trying to teach how to make a Campaign would take too long. I have over two years of experience with it. However, if you want Campaigns with different Aircraft I can recommend the following: Operation Joint Effort http://combatace.com/files/file/13319-operation-joint-effort/ The Pacific Incident http://combatace.com/files/file/13133-the-pacific-incident/ The Scandinavian Front Part 1: http://combatace.com/files/file/12979-the-scandinavian-front-mega-package-part-1/ Part 2 http://combatace.com/files/file/12980-the-scandinavian-front-mega-package-part-2/
  21. Booo! Booo! Freedom for Finland I say! ;-) Well done! Your What-If models are always remarkable!
  22. Hello and sorry for late reply. This campaign was lost due to a Computer Crash I had. Silly enough, I had not backed up this campaign and I had done some pretty nifty things with it, resulting in I not wanting to spend the time to do it all again.
