Have you checked if your graphics drivers are up to date? And tried re-installing the game?

The Campaign Custumizer eliminates all that. All you need to do is choose the aircraft, choose the campaign and your side (F-16 for Soviets? No problem...) and you are good to go.

The Thirdwire Campaign Custumizer DLC sounds like the best answer. 6 Dollars off http://www.thirdwire.com Otherwise, the NATO Fighters 4+ Mod pack contains a F-16 amongst other things...

Angered and afraid of NATOs influence in Scandinavia, The Soviet Union demands that Finland and Sweden joins the Warsaw pact to ensure the borders of the Union. Both countries refuse. On October 1th, the Soviet Union deploys forces to force the countries into the pact. Sweden, Finland and Norway set condition Isbjörn, activating an alliance against Soviet Agression and rallies to defend Scandinavia... Installation Instructions: Simply unzip it all into your mod folder. I would advise you to use a clean installation so there is as little risk as possible for errors. This mod does not overwrite any original data and can be used alongside any Central Europe themed mod Campaign - in theory. If you own Strike Figthers 2 Israel, unzip the "Install_if_you_have_SFI_Exp1" file into the mod folder as well, and allow any overwrites. This can be used as stand alone or to patch earlier versions of Operation Isbjörn. Important Notes: SF2 Europe is a requirement. Preferably, use a fully merged installation. File Name: SF2E: TSF: The Catalina Affair File Submitter: JonathanRL File Submitted: 11 January 2012 File Updated: 01 February 2012 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Missions and Campaigns The Catalina Affair By The Scandinavian Front Team "The Catalina affair was an incident on June 13, 1952, when a Swedish military Douglas DC-3A-360 Skytrain flying over the Baltic Sea carrying out signals intelligence gathering operations for the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA), disappeared east of the isle of Gotska Sandön. Three days later, two Swedish military Catalina flying boats searched for the DC-3 north of Estonia. One of the planes was shot down by Soviet warplanes but the crew ditched near the West German freighter Münsterland and were rescued." As the survivors are flown from Finland with a military escort, the DC-3 wreckage is found by the Swedish Navy. Stalin at once declares the wreckage soviet property as "is filled to the brim with Soviet State Secrets" while Sweden declares their intention to combat any attempt to stop a salvage operation on international waters. As the Swedish Navy rallies off Gotland to blockade the Baltic Navy ports from the point "Svensksund", the Soviets steam out to meet them.... This modification is based on the fictional event that the Catalina Affair resulted in an armed conflict. It is not a reproduction of actual events. The TSF Team wish to dedicate this mod to the crew of the DC-3 and Anders Jallai, the man who found them. Installation: If you are using a mod, or plan to use one, TSF will mess around with settings other mods may be using. As such, creating a seperate mod folder for TSF is a good idea. If you only plan to use TSF, then this step can be bypassed. Go to your installation folder (Usually C:\Program Files\Thirdwire\Strike Fighters 2). Make a copy of Strike Fighters 2.exe / Strike Fighters 2 Europe.exe depending on what you prefer and got installed. Name the Copy Strike Fighters 2 TSF.exe . Having been granted possesion of guided missiles and a few Bombers for Maritime Recon duties, the Finnish Air Force is a competent and mobile addition to the Scandinavian Arsenal. On the first of August, The Soviet Union declared the Finns in voilation of the Paris treaty, limiting the size of their Air Force and decides to patrol the Finnish Skies. The Finns retort that any unauthorized aircraft in Finnish Airspace will be shot down. The Finns are about to show what they can do with their new MiGs, the loathed Gnat and the venerable Vamppi against five full squadrons of Soviet Aircraft... A/N: The Mod is based around a limited air war between Finland and the Soviet Union. There is no ground conflict, and most of the missions will involve defensive measures taken to ensure Finnish Supremacy over their homeland. We will be patching ALL the packages today with new Menu and Loading screens, as well as fact fixes (The next Finn who points them out will be locked in a Sauna...) for the latest campaign, the updated J-28B for Operation Isbjörn, The S-31 Spitfire for Expansion 1 people in The Catalina Affair and numerous bug fixes. Also, the older campaigns will recive the later campaigns updated files so they can now be installed in pretty much any order without messing something up.

Ah yes, Canada and Denmark's epic battle for Hans Island. Hans Island is the smallest of three islands not far from Greenland's coast, and Canada and Denmark have been fighting over it for years. War ships from both sides patrol the area, and when they encounter each other they...show their flags. When the soldiers leave the ships they...take the other side's flag down and raise their own. Sometimes they leave a bottle of whiskey too. Quite possibly the tamest war ever, yet USA and Sweden have tried their best to make the sides hate each other. USA's media have had stories about Denmark "invading Canadian soil" and Swedish media had a few stories about it as well and later comedians called Danish politicians and pretended to be Canadian politicians. So far it haven't really worked. :XD: Our attempt to bring Denmark into the mod had some side effects: The reason for the war explained in simple terms: And this is why we cannot deploy air units on Aeland: It would make the entire campaign way, way to easy ;-) During the Finnish war Russia chased the Swedish soldiers off of Åland. Then they went home, but left about 450 well trained soldiers behind in case the Swedes would come back. The soldiers started getting bossy and tried commanding the Ålanders around and make them harvest their grain for them. The Ålanders were not happy about that at all, so a few sneaked back to Sweden and said, “They want us to work for them, but we will stay faithful to the Swedish king. We are ready to do anything, but we need help!” The Swedes wanted to help, but could only effort to send a few soldiers and guns for the farmers. With their new weapons the Ålanders, all farmers who had no military training whatsoever, sneaked up on the Russian soldiers and surprised them. In fact the Ålanders were so vicious and good that the Russians thought they were up against an army of Swedish soldiers and decided to surrender. Across from the battlefield the Ålanders looked confused on as Russians started waving white flags. Because they had no military training they didn’t understand the signal, and just kept shooting! The Russiand must have thought they were crazy. :XD: It didn’t stop before some Swedish soldiers saw what was going on and told them to stop. Great was the Russians’ humiliation when they realised they had surrenders to farmers! :XD: Only three people dired during the battle. Sweden was so very proud of Åland that day. :D As [link] put it: “So don't mess with Åland. The only reason he has agreed to all the non-fortification and non-militarisation treaties since the Crimean war and the destruction of Bomarsund is that he is so badass that he does not need them.” ;)

Usually, permits are given to land them in Allied Countries. The lack of this almost ditched the Entebbe Raid.

Sorry, can´t seem to find a map of them anywhere. Several of the squadrons home bases is not present on the NorthCape terrain so you will have to re-base them anyhow. I honestly dont know. Its not me working on them.
