It was a dual rail designed in polish aviation institute for R-3S missile called "PBP-2-3S Monsun", just like dual rails for F-4 Phantom or F-8 Crusader. It was specially designed for the MiG-21 PFM version because in the basic variant carried only two rockets. So it was designed mainly to increase shot-down probability. However their use was abandoned when Mig-21M/MF/BIS appeared in our air forces which typically have four pylons for rockets and even dual rails for R-60 missiles. I heard that some of "Monsun" rails were sold to East Germany but i don't how many.

Hmm this is strange. My system is WinXP, WOE first gen. When I put both - DLL and INI file in main directory it doesn't work, but when INI goes to the Flight folder then HDR effects works well. Another matter is that I don't see any speed boost. -

Hi, I,m working on the avionics for the EricJ Superhornet but I have problem with add target range counter on the Hud. F/a-18s all versions have specific avionics with characteristic "NIRD" circle. NIRD -Normalized In Range Display circle represents the maximum missile boresight steering error for optimal employment conditions. Below example screen taken from Graphsim F/a-18 ODS sim, what I'm talking about As you can see range bar moving in a circle. How to obtain this effect in our series? -

I'm still experimenting/fixing/etc... so maybe two weeks I looked at the avionics70.dll file and noticed few interesting features, I know "GMT/TF" radar modes don't work but what about "Steering_CUE", "Steerpoint_SYMBOL", did anyone try these entries? -

Thanks guys Whoaa Navy ATC these photos are amazing! Unique I see that some things I need to remake. Unfortunately this range bar can't be model like in real so what you see in NIRD circle is only "Target Aspect" indicator. -

Little update I discovered that the contacts could be moddable. I mean not only shape and colour but also how they work. Look at the targets and compare to that This picture is from a manual to Digital Integration F/A-18 Super Hornet sim. One step closer to reality. -

Zgadza się, o ile awionika w F-15 i A-10 jest całkiem, całkiem to w rosyjskich maszynach raczej niewiele ma wspólnego z realiami i podobnie jak w Wings over obsługa sprowadza sie do kilku klawiszy. W ogóle zasada działania rosyjskich maszyn nie jest oddana w Locku bo w realu to były i są nadal tzw. "kompleksy przechwytujące" gdzie naprowadzaniem na cel zajmowały się systemy naziemne np. taki Lazur, które przekazywały dane/komendy do myśliwca. Radary w rosyjskich myśliwcach były tylko dodatkowymi narzędziami służącymi naprowadzeniu rakiet na cel. Ich możliwości są dość ograniczone w porównaniu z zachodnimi odpowiednikami.

Tak to prawda, zarówno Falcon jak i wspomniany przeze mnie F/a-18 to nie porównanie bardziej złożone simy od Wings over. Tylko miej na uwadze że w przeciwieństwie do Thirdwire gdzie masz "one man show", takiego Falcona robił sztab ludzi z Microprose przez kilka lat. W zasadzie to po wydaniu Falcona3.0 (1992r) rozpoczęli pracę nad 4.0 którego wydali w 1998r. Jednakże TK zbyt kurczowo trzyma się koncepcji "light sim", co mnie trochę dziwi bo ciągle mamy za dużo "light", a za mało "sim". Wystarczyło by wrzucić do serii kilka smaczków np. trochę bardziej rozbudowana awionika, więcej trybów radaru a-g, możliwość swobodnego używania broni a-g, tankowanie powietrzne by seria ruszyła z miejsca, bo jak na razie to mamy dreptanie w miejscu z wydawaniem tych Vistowych edycji.

Mam starego Falcona4.0 i nowszą reedycję Allied Force ale jakoś nie wciągnął mnie ten sim. Brak mi tu jakby to powiedzieć "swobodnego pływania" w powietrzu i luzu, no i ta siermiężność. Teraz siedzę nad Jane's F/a-18 chociaż też jest siermiężny to daje mi więcej frajdy, awionika podobnie jak w Falconie jest dość rozbudowana ale obsługa jest znacznie prostsza i logiczna.

Yes the 1500 litres tank is only centerline for 9.12/9.13 versions. Latest 9.12 for Germany using smaller 1150 litres tanks under wings too. -

So anyone? Based on Erwin_Hans cockpit repaint Still need some work. Like I say I don't know how to add this "range bar". In Crusader F-15 avionics mod range bar working in up-down direction on the Hud but how to mod this to get circle moving?
