  1. New BSG "game"

Another BSG conversion is Fleet Commander for Homeworld 2. Totally different kind of game, but if you enjoy strategy games it's really worth a try even in beta stage.
  2. New BSG "game"

I've downloaded and played the demo campaign. I've found it to be really great and has an excellent "as real as it gets" feel (as long as you believe you can fly & fight in space). Too bad the demo is very short, but the multiplayer is functional. No big ships yet, but you'll get vipers and cylon raiders as well. Be warned it is pretty hard, even on easy, too hit those frakking cylons.
  3. Nave Garibaldi

  8. Sea Harrier was available on Avsim, IIRC. Some time ago i did a 801 sq. Falklands skin, but I didn't really finished it, so I didn't upload it here. If you're interested send me a PM and I will send you the files.
  9. Benvenuti

  10. File Name: F-104G Photoshop Template File Submitter: bobrock File Submitted: 6 Nov 2007 File Category: Skin Templates / Decal Sets This is the Photoshop template I used to create my F-104G skins. I left untouched most of the layers so you will be able to adjust the weathering to your taste quickly. Included in the files are the base layers for both standard NATO camouflage and natural metal finish. I've spent several hours creating these files so, if you're going to use them in a public release, just give me some credit for them These files are for the stock ThirdWire F-104G only. File Name: VF-84 Jolly Rogers File Submitter: bobrock File Submitted: 6 Nov 2007 File Category: F-14 VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" - The Final Countdown, circa 1980 This skin depicts the paint scheme in use at the time the movie "The Final countdown" was shot. In 1980 VF-84 participated in this motion picture, which propelled the skull-and-crossbones-adorned F-14's to international stardom. The movie featured a memorable scene involving two VF-84 Tomcats engaging two Japanese A6M Zeros. Installation instruction in the readme.txt included. Click here to download this file
  13. Yes, I'd get the SHar too, much easier to park and you don't need a radar operator. But with the Tonka you can get in the car pooling lane

  15. File Name: F-104G Italian Air Force 6° Stormo File Submitter: bobrock File Submitted: 29 Oct 2007 File Category: SF Century Series Skins F-100/F-101/F-102/F-104/F-105/F-106 6° Stormo A. Fusco, 154° Gruppo - 1970s This skin depicts the tipical italian starfighter paint scheme used in the 70s, in NATO tactical camouflage with large national markings and big white numbers. The Squadron was disbanded after the armistice in 1943 and reformed in 1952 as a fighter-bombers squadron, the insignia is the famous Red Devil and it's named after Alfredo Fusco, ace and Medaglia d'Oro al Valore recipient, shot down during WWII over Albania. In 1965 154° Gruppo was awarded the "NATO flying safety" award, totaling 5000 hrs without any accident. Quite remarkable, since they were flying the dreaded Zipper! This skin is for the original Third Wire F-104G model only. Installation instruction in the readme.txt included. Click here to download this file
  16. Nuclear Ops...or Ooops?

Well, it looks like some head has fallen "The widespread disregard for nuclear weapons safety standards by airmen at Minot and Barksdale Air Force bases led to the unprecedented “Bent Spear” incident in which six nuclear warheads were mistakenly loaded onto a B-52 and flown from North Dakota to Louisiana on Aug. 29-30, Air Force officials said Friday after an intensive six-week investigation. The Air Force relieved the 5th Munitions Squadron commander at Minot immediately after the incident. On Friday, it announced that three more commanders have been sacked. They are: ** Col. Bruce Emig, wing commander, 5th Bomb Wing, Minot Air Force Base; ** Col. Cynthia M. Lundell, commander, 5th Maintenance Group, Minot Air Force Base; and ** Col. Todd C. Westhauser, commander, 2nd Operations Group, Barksdale Air Force Base." latest on AF Times
  17. I've been working on some new F-104 skins, sized 1024x1024. They're still WIP and I have some fixing to do, but they're quite close to be finished. Almost two weeks I'm planning to do at least 4-5 of them, and here are the first 4° Stormo, 1962-65 bare aluminum Reparto Sperimentale di Volo, late 60s - early 70s
  18. I've uploaded the last 104G, 6° Stormo 1970s. It is the last starfighter (at least for now), since I want to start some new project, so that's it. I hope you enjoyed them as I did, doing them; but don't worry, in the next days I will upload my full template. I just have to reduce a bit the size (right now it's over 100MB), so you can continue increase the fleet of 104s

  20. A little update on the work so far. I have fixed a few things I wasn't satisfied with and I can say it's almost done. Just a few more days you'll be ready to splash some Zero with this cat
