this is off topic,but i have a question.i was given a radeon video card by a friend(i'm not even sure what particular model it is;it says r9550 256mb ddr heatsink on sticker)i was just wandering if this card is better than the nvidia 8400gs that have on my winxp x64 1024mb ram 2.4ghz rig?if anyone can give me the pros and cons,i would appreciate it!thanx!!

o.k. o.k. i asked previously if anyone was interested in flying falcon 4.0 af on dail-up. guess i should explain. i live in an area that doesn't offer high speed internet, and , no, i will not move to one that does.... is it impossible to find people that fly online using dail-up? i play delta force blackhawk down online with no problems whatsoever(i.e. not getting booted off for high ping times)i have lomac,falcon 4.0 and falcon 4.0 af,combat flight sim. 3,flight sim. 2004,among several other combat sim's. i just want to enjoy flying with other living persons without being shunned for having dail-up.there should be a movement for dail-up users or at worst an area where we can gather online to enjoy some of the best flight sim's ever! so if anyone knows such a web-gathering, i would appreciate the info.i just want someone else to enjoy some of the missions i have created for much of these flight sim's without being ignored because of my dail-up connection.

i'm having a small problem w/ the all flyable aircraft mod. when loading out my hog, the weapons are " inside the wing structure" almost like it thinks the aircraft is the F-16. anyone having this problem? the pylons are correct,but, the weapons are not on the pylons correctly.

does anyone know how to get b-17g to work in cfs3(have downloaded gun/weapons tool and i have shared files tool in their respective folders)? i have unzipped files into aircraft folder, but is not showing up in aircraft list. any links to sites with fix will help greatly. also have downloaded spitfire wings missions add-on but apparently i do not have right aircraft as the sim crashes when i select mission. again any links to sites that can help me with this problem would be appriciated.THANKS!!!!

hey,thanks Agamemnon!!You were right about the cobras,they were listed as AH_1W and AH_1G...just changed file name like you said,and,..presto!!they're there!wish i could say the same about F-111's.the file that i dl'd is listed as F-111Package(a self-extracting file/s/)and extracted them to objects/aircraft folder.within folder are F-111A,C,D,E,F,G,FB-111A,and even a K model.all have approx.27.2mb.i'm at a loss....anyway,thanks for the heads up on the cobras!gonna make a lot of sleepless nights for the VC/NVA in campaign!!!DEATH FROM ABOVE!!!!!

1st...i'm not yelling...just had capslock on....2nd..i have dl'd the pit and they are labeled F-111!!and yes,same w/ cobras....now what?i did the same w/ F-15E strike eagle and i am using it regularly in campaign!same w/ F/A-18 and F-14A!!!i even have UH-1H!!!so...what now?

CAN ANYONE HELP ME W/ GETTING F-111'S IN WOV(HAVE LATEST PATCH 05-25-06)I HAVE F-14A,F/A-18,A-10A,RF-4C,F-4G WW-V,BIRD DOG,AC-130A,.....ALL WORKING GOOD,BUT CANNOT GET F-111'S TO WORK IN SINGLE MISSION OR CAMPAIGN.I HAVE DL'D F-111 PACKAGE AND CHANGED DATES IN DATA.INI AND AVAILIBILTY TO NO AVAILE.PRETTY SURE I HAVE EXTRACTED THE FILES TO THE CORRECT FOLDER(JUST AS I HAVE W/ F-14,F/A-18,...ETC....)BTW I ALSO HAVE CURRENT WEPS PACK(AWESOME!!!)ALSO CANNOT GET AH-1G OR AH-1W COBRAS TO WORK EITHER!!!.......HELP PLEASE!!!!

hey, buff!! with all due respect ,sir, can we give weasel driving hillbilly a second chance? i'm his brother,viperBAT32.....he is just VERY passionate about flight sim's.maybe he's a little shy on social skills,but, he means well!we just want the very best a flight sim can give us....even a little un-orthodox as it may seem. weasel driving hillbilly's flight style is over-the-top, and mine is "by the books",but both can be effective, can't they?that's what makes these sim's so enjoyable...a wide selection of missions and a diverse universe of pilots make war flight sim fun! after all,don't we just want to have fun?-viperBAT32 RTB....p.s. i'll get w/ hillbilly and give him KP duty for a couple of weeks to "whip him in shape"!!!
