  1. im in on that, i can build and texture the ships.
  2. just buy them all and merge them. when you have them all merged the enemy squadrons are more diverse and accurate.
  3. I think the wing sweep can be triggered by adding the Parking Animation ID# to an Animation Key, the front castor needs a model node assigned to it in the Data INI. (i think TK either overlooked this or left it like that on purpose) if no one has it done by time i get out of office tonite I'll extract the F-14 data inis and do it.
  4. I believe its set using the Radar Position in the Carriers Data . INI
  5. actually, the filter did adjust some frequency, so some words like "asp one" you barely hear for some reason.

  11. 6, Apartment Buildings, 5, Vehicles, Couple Dozen TVs, Thousands in Personal Property Damage, Millions in Private Property Damage 2, Martin Baker Ejection Seats 1, 57 Million Dollar F/A-18 Fighter Jet NOT HAVING ANY CAUSUALTIES = PRICELESS the same area had a plane crash in it in the early 80s, but it wasnt residential.

Witness reported Fire on the Right wing and coming out the right exhaust as he was flying low, The RPM in the one camera phone video sent to me sounds crazy low, below idle, a few seconds later they began dumping fuel. (which alot of hick beach bumbs complained about having JP5 dumped on their cars). So: Plane took off, once it gained some altitude and retracted gear, looked away, Several loud POPs and from that point on, you can hear the engine RPM drop and fluctuate . Turned back to see the plane flying low and slow over the highway 264 with a nose up about 20 degrees and dropping altitude with flames coming out of either one or both engine exhausts and on the right wing, Plane began dumping/losing fuel as it broke through about 200 feet, Pilot and WSO Ejected and the plane dipped into the buildings below., Pilot was recover still strapped into his seat.

  16. it'd be pointless to have server space and bandwidth for mods of a game that isnt moddable, and TW updates their Install files when they release a patch, so at this point everyone that buys SF2:NA is buying the April Version. SF2 before the DLC Patches w/ the Old CATs was the best because everything was moddable, then came the lockdowns on the CATs, the ViewDistance, and other Terrain features because too many people were having "issues" with the Draw Distance and Z Buffer that was quickly bypassed instead of fixed.
  17. 75+% is usually ground objects, textures and map files. as if i put illegal entires in carrier inis it locks at 70% every time, remove the entries it loads fine. ask your self what does those terrains have that the others dont? extract the INIs and compare.

  20. Start, Control Panel, Administrator Tools, Event Viewer, Windows Logs Folder, Software Log, Look for Errors/Events pertaining to Applications runing under the SF2NA.exe (or whatever exe is crashing), copy / paste the gode into google.
  21. for SF2 Europe, you need to be running a version prior to TK locking the CATs.

    Extract the Contents to a Temp Folder, (Should Be 319 WAVs, on TXT) Copy WAVs to: <X:>\Users\<Username>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\StrikeFighters2 NorthAtlantic\Speech\ <X:> = Drive Letter you installed Windows On. <Username> = The Username You log into windows with. Notes: The Voice for the AWACS has NOT been replaced, the Original Voice files were edited and filtered to resemble radio transmissions for better immersation / realism.
