If someone doesn't like you, it doesn't matter what you do or suffer, you're in the wrong, and those who are against you or hurt you, no matter what they've done, are in the right or victims or whatever. People don't want to admit there is no objective "right" or "wrong", perhaps because of their religions, but it's all subjective. Islam can say "we preach not to hurt the innocent", then you can have any old wackjob claim "these people aren't innocent because of this lame line of reasoning" and off they go killing innocents! The very fact that religions do NOT practice tolerance but are instead "all our way or total damnation" is why we have these issues.

That nutcase can't croak soon enough. Sure there may be a power struggle, but it CAN'T be worse afterwards.

Last I heard it had been pushed back again, but was close. I expect it in less than a few months, but still a ways out. I think Wags posted an update at lockon.ru not long ago.

Grabbing the 34MB DL now myself!

AGP has become a real rarity now. There aren't any new cards out there that use it, and I'm not sure what the highest level was. I think ATI made some X1350s in AGP a couple of years back, but they might have been in Europe only. I think you're going to have to go to ebay to find an AGP card, but because they're rare you'll likely end up paying more than it's really worth. On the flipside, you could probably upgrade that old P4 to something newer and faster with a PCI Express slot for not too much...oh, you'll need new RAM most likely too. So, you need a new mobo, RAM, CPU, and video card pretty much. Ouch.

Thanks for posting my desktop as well, shotdown. That first one is mine for a couple of years now.

I'll always remember him from The Greatest American Hero which I watched every week as a kid. While I know he's done some other things recently, like a role on Everyone Loves Raymond I think, the last thing I saw him do was Dr Breen in HL2.

Yes, this is the way many Blurays are now. You can hit chapter skip and/or FF thru some of this stuff, but not all.

Smaller?

I believe so, although I can't recall if I've ever done it or not. You just single-designate the first target in TWS then successive ones, then as you fire the missiles they go after the targets in order. If you double-designate into STT of course you get just one. I usually find that I'm too concerned with evading an incoming missile from said primary target to worry about firing at others!

Yes, Dave will officially be 10% less grumpy today!

Just 17 more and you get the Soviets

Well, I'll add to that number when I get home tonight, but methinks you'll have a little while to go yet! -

I think there's no doubt OFF offers the most comprehensive package out of the box. FE2 is great, but it's still bare bones like all of TK's stuff until you start tinkering. RoF hasn't yet had that years of development behind it that FE/SF and OFF have. If it survives long enough to make it there, I'm sure it will be a better option.

Maybe in Turkey the girls are raised to believe that they need to look good to get a husband, but once married they don't have to care anymore and can just pig out?

Not fired, removed. Those Pucaras aren't battle damaged, they've been cannibalized.

Well it hovers... The F-35 that is...
JediMaster replied to Slartibartfast's topic in Military and General Aviation
No, according to LM the price will be half that. You basically have groups of people with no real qualifications, other than they're civil service and can't be fired for anything short of pedophilia, trying to tell the future. Anyone remember when we didn't look at how much the entire program was going to cost? Look at how many F-16s have been built and how much has been spent on them over the decades...you think if they had been presented that number in 1975 that the F-16 would've made it to production? Nope. -

India to induct smart 'suicide bomber' drone
JediMaster replied to ghostrider883's topic in Military and General Aviation
That strikes me as an incredibly expensive way to go. It's $10m a shot, every time, and you have a very limited supply. -
One thing you can say about Vegas hotels (the better hotels, anyway) is that they keep their places clean and tidy to a degree you rarely see elsewhere unless it's a 5-star hotel. Compared to places like Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Colorado, and especially NJ!

Sorry, I have to take issue with that. Unless they're uber-rich or royalty, there's no garage in Japan that could hold a 3-piece band!! Maybe they could STORE their instruments on top of each other there...

What, Lipitor and Crestor?? Go there often and you WILL need to take them.

Anyone else not in with my little scheme? Marching up and down the square?? -
I don't know, I thought 5G was good, but not "great". Better than Steak and Shakes by a bit, but no shakes at 5G! We buy burgers from Omaha Steaks and those are hard to beat for any fast food place. Ruby Tuesday makes great burgers for a sit-down place, the Triple Prime burger is something else. There is no "what do I order", Kevin, it's just burger, cheeseburger, hot dog, and fries. That's it, very simple menu. The decor inside...well there isn't any. It's like someone put a grill and frier in a warehouse with some picnic benches.
