True no real CD successor has come, but I have several albums with DVDs with the songs in 5.1 for listening on the home theater setup and they are incredible!

F-101/RF-101
JediMaster replied to CaptainCA's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Generally speaking, the release of a payware model doesn't preclude the release of a freeware one. Usually the other direction is the same unless the freeware one is better than the one that would be payware! -
I'll wait until I hear the consensus is it will make things better without screwing things up before I bother. For now, SP2 is fine.

Iran reportedly got more kills with the 54 than the USN ever did, albeit still not that many. That was due more to maintenance troubles, though.

I have a DVR, but I still have to set it. Hard to do more than 2-3 days in advance because it hasn't grabbed the schedule for it yet. In HD yet!! -
F-29A
JediMaster replied to Dels's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
The real question is will it be the X-32 or the F-32 Boeing would've made had it won (with separate tail, not a delta like the X version)? Anyway, will the F-29 have wingtip missile rails Dels? Or only underwing/fuselage? -
They're not the same role, though. The J-10 is in the MiG-29/F-35 class, while the Su-30 is in the Super Hornet/F-22/Typhoon class. I would expect the J-10 to beat a Flanker in a dogfight because it's smaller and a more recent design.

Can a country get gray hairs?

Well, the mule is much larger than the mountain lion. It didn't live that long by being stupid, you attack the creature that's more your size as your chances are better. I'm sure it had no idea the mule would attack it.

I don't think you'll find any SATA chipset drivers that support Win98. However, you should be able to get by with "generic". The clue is the BIOS setting. Each manufacturer does it differently, so you'll have to search your BIOS for the exact naming. It may talk about SATA/Legacy, or AHCI, or some other thing you're not expecting. Basically it will make the SATA appear like standard IDE to the OS.

GTR Evolution from Simbin
JediMaster replied to JediMaster's topic in Racing Simulations General Discussions
I don't know if this will have any GT Legends-type stuff in it, but it looks to be a GTR2 replacement possibly. -
Is that the shiny new Mach 5?!?! Designed by a Wachowski brother methinks...

F-29A "?"
JediMaster replied to Dels's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
I thought Polecat is what you called a Grumman bird after it becomes a gate guard! -
So who's been watching the final (sort of) season of BSG? This seems the darkest of the series and they've done some things I wasn't expecting, at least not in just the first few eps. I'm hooked, and I'm bummed that they won't show the last half until next year (effectively turning the full length S4 into half length seasons 4 and 5). Rampant speculation on who the final Cylon will be, of course.
-
Yes, Caprica Six told Baltar I think in early/middle season 1 that Cylons couldn't have children and that was a problem as they see God's commandment to reproduce very important. As for who it can be, it's a very short list: Roslyn (already discussed here) Bill Adama (if Lee is a half-Cylon hybrid then!) Romo Lampkin, should he return Smaller characters like Racetrack or Seelix--doubtful Doc Cottle Baltar (of course, he remains a prime suspect) Starbuck (as does she after the missing time bit) Zarek Gaeta Dualla (I'm in favor of this one for various reasons) Eliminated from contention: Ellen Tigh Helo (he has a half-Cylon child ergo he's human) Certainly not Callie, for the same reason! Billy Well, they COULD bring a dead character back like Ellen or Billy, but I'm not sure if that would be considered cheating!

Too many coming out this summer. I'm waiting for the Bluray release!

Upcoming BoB not to include old
JediMaster replied to Fielder's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
There is basically no commonality between SoW:BoB and the Il-2 series. You will see some of the same planes, but all will be BoB-era only. There should be some planes that were not in Il-2 as well. The main thing is this is a totally new sim from the ground up. So, you might say this is the Doom 3 to Il-2's original Doom. Same concept but greatly advanced yet with less content out of the box. However, SoW is planned as a continuing series, and just as Il-2 had Forgotten Battles, Aces Expansion, Pacific Fighters, Pe-2, Sturmoviks over Manchuria, and 1946 added to it, so will BoB.
