Yeah, there's a base in UT that's more remote where they do all the TS flight testing now I think. However, the base at Groom Lake itself probably does do lots of work still.

LOL, Lawless was on sometime around the Hartman years, actually!

Yes, it would be great to see the Danish F-22. The only one. As they couldn't afford to buy more.

You can't land a Hornet on the White House lawn! -
"Oh woman, oh woman, don't treat me so mean. You're the best dang woman I've ever seen. I guess if you say so I'll have to pack my things and go."

You mean the Pima museum? I was there when it was 120F.

Well, I have been posting there 7 yrs now.

You think he just made up that name?

I can't see that site, but is it the old DI Tornado game? I played a lot of that. The ADV stuff was crap, but the IDS was awesome.

I never thought much about him one way or another, but I think Brothers Grimm was the only thing I really remember him from. I will be seeing Dark Knight, though.

Any creative ways for overcoming lack of trim...?

Isn't the F-16 centreline tank in that range? Of course, it's not round but oval in cross section because of where it sits on the F-16, so it might look a little odd under wings, but... -
Oh, those aren't lift values? In that case they're pretty odd. Why 133.8 and not 134? Why 123.5 and not 124?

I played F-19 for a good 2.5 yrs straight before the release of F3 took over as my main jet sim. I LOVED playing that thing. Whether you chose Cold War, limited war, or WWIII, it offered differing tactics and combat. F-15SE 2 I played when it came out, later, and I only played it a few hours at most. Aside from some minor graphical improvements (compared to F-19 but not the later F-117 SF 2.0 which looked a LOT better), it had that stupid damage model where all you lost was thrust from damage, to the point that you'd eventually fall out of the sky if you were hit too much.

I don't know. ET was designed as a for-pay expansion that was canned when they couldn't get the SP to work as they wanted (bots were brain-dead). ET:QW is what they wanted the bots to be capable of. In lieu of just dumping all that work, they released ET as a free MP-only title that superceded RTCW's MP (which I played a lot back in the day). I have my doubts about this "free" BF.

Actually, I spent Friday night on the island of Sahrani pacifying some Russian-supplied insurgents...and in the former USSR state of Georgia, fighting Russian-backed troops.

Lawless was hilarious on SNL. She did a GREAT Stevie Nicks impression.

I know some people can't watch BSG because they identify with the show TOO much. I'm like "it's just TV!!"
-
What about the basics? Just CPU, RAM, mobo, video, and PSU. Did that work? I would guess a short in the case myself.

Will it even find sufficient heat to lock onto??

#4 is in F4 and LOMAC, although not at the same level as in Tornado. They'll tell you the speed you need to go to get to your waypt on time, although it may be faster than you can go.

Il-2 was designed as a tada Il-2 sim. They started adding all those other planes into it but it was never designed for it. I think that has been proven in spades by all the shortcomings in areas like AI and high altitude flight.

Australia goes with Fullbacks?

We bought the MiG-29s from Moldova in the early 90s that they put on the market. No idea if they're still operable. The problem with Russian military equipment has always been maintainability. Their stuff was built with a different philosophy than ours, with depot-level maintenance happening every 1000-2000 hrs I think? In the West that would be totally unacceptable, but over there they had a semi-disposable outlook on stuff. Use it and beat it up for a thousand hours or so, then send it to depot for repairs while you use the one that just came out of the depot. Granted that outlook has changed in the last 10 years, but Russia has yet to fly anything designed in the last 10 years. Everything "new" is just a variant of a cold war-era design. So while Russian planes would undoubtedly be cheaper to procure, I'm not sure what the maintenance costs and availability rates would be. Wouldn't help if only 60% of the fleet is active at any one time with the other 40% in varying states of maintenance!
