I'm not familiar with that card per se, but knowing what I do of nvidia's numbering schemes, there's a good chance a 6150SE could actually be SLOWER than a 6100. There's an equal chance it will be roughly the same speed or slightly faster. However, I'd say you're looking at roughly an equivalent level.

Question My Friends
JediMaster replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
That's what I got as well. That change, along with others like RS/YAP2 leaving, were in the works for some time. The sad part is that knowing CA was down temporarily they didn't hold off closing the TW forum until say THIS weekend as a courtesy to the displaced with dual membership on both sites to give them someplace to go other than TK's site. My guess is a lot of outcry changed their minds over it, and they relented just as we got back up...but it really looks dodgy from the outside, like they did it deliberately. If SimHQ was a massive corporation, I'd give it less thought, but it's not that much bigger staff-wise, just active posters-wise, so there's no reason they couldn't have waited a week to help. -
Venting and Ranting

While I have high hopes for the new DCS model as exemplified by the MiG-21 release, I also am skeptical if only because ED is notoriously tight-lipped about their plans. It doesn't help that when they DO finally say something, it only comes out right 50% of the time, the rest of the time "plans have changed." If you're going to have that poor a track record, why be tight-lipped? Might as well blab away and let people understand you're "thinking out loud" and most of it may not happen! At least people will know the thought process then. Instead we get the A-10C hugely delayed, with missing Nevada (still to be released) while FC2 and BS2 are presented as a fait accompli to a totally shocked customer base. I understand writing s/w is difficult, things happen you didn't plan for, etc. However, both ED and TK have over 10 years in the business and should be able to at least factor those things into their estimates. When A-10 went from "9 months after BS" to 2 years, then things like P-51 and World and JTAC or whatever show up, it gives people an uneasy feeling. Almost like they're worried people will try to talk them out of their choices, so they do them in secret until the release is imminent? I'm sure there's a cultural thing to it as well, but in that case GrViper should be able to grasp it at least! -

Ah, finally I'll get at least partial credit for all those kills my AI wingmen steal! -
Usually games install that when they install. Was this a case of the game broke after you'd been running it awhile, or was it always like that until you reinstalled DX?

Wow, that thread started a long time ago, not sure when the final release was? The 23rd?

C costs a lot more than the A. There's no way the USAF will go for that as it would mean fewer planes for the same money. -
1:1 scale USS Enterprise within 20 years?

Why? $$$$$$$$$$$$$ -
I was only there once. It was like 110 that day, with like a 20mph wind that was like standing in a hair dryer. Of course, it was long ago when the XV-15 was still there, before the V-22 program pulled it out for testing.

It was called "Troops". A great bit, especially with the one Jawa carrying Tom Servo. "Is this your droid? No? It's your cousin's. Are you his cousin? No, you're his friend. Do you have a receipt for this droid?"

F-35B was always the best choice IMO.....
JediMaster replied to MigBuster's topic in Military and General Aviation
The problem is it's this or nothing. This isn't 30 years ago when we had competing designs at work. The JSF is it. Unless you think the X-47 can be made into a viable UCAV for all services in the next decade. Super Hornets will not last to 2050, nor will F-15s, F-16s, or anything else but the F-22. The F-22 will only last till then if we don't lose too many to various things over the decades, seeing as we don't even have 200 of the stupid things. So, we can spend the money to fix the F-35 or we can make the even more intelligent decision to scrap it totally and start spending money on a totally new design to replace it, spend several billion more dollars in the process, and then find that THAT design also has a ton of issues it needs to fix (because all planes have before it, and all will after it, no doubt). These stupid "total lifetime cost" estimates crack me up, too. Wow, it's going to cost more than any other plane we've ever had? Really? Maybe it's because we're planning on buying more of them than any plane built in the last 35 years? And then keeping them for like 50 years, longer than any fighter we've still got flying? And that's going to cost more? Really? Those CPAs are worth the taxpayer dollars they cost. Really. Next: US gov't plan to replace every single car, truck, and van used by GSA in 2013 will cost more than any previous year! Plans to demolish and rebuild every gov't building will result in highest ever construction costs! -
IIRC ROF doesn't need an activation key. You DL and install the game (which is the same for everyone) and what you get access to is dependent upon how you login at the start of the game. Your email account and PW is it. All the planes and whatever you've paid for in the game is tied to that. Just type in that email and PW and you're good to go.

I loved the openings to Magnum PI, the A-Team, Rockford Files, Airwolf, Simon and Simon, Knight Rider, BSG, Buck Rogers, and of course the classic sitcoms like Cheers, Night Court, and the Cosby Show.

You don't start off building JSF's and Eurofighters. You have to start before that, figuring things out as you go, or you wind up spending a lot of resources on something that will never work right. China didn't send its first man into space in a shuttle. -

Personally, my beef is with that 2nd picture. You call that a ladder??!? The plane may be fine, but I'd be scared of that narrow, dinky thing collapsing while climbing in or out of the cockpit! You'd think after all these years of testing someone would've raised their hand and pointed out they could make a better ladder for another few bucks... BTW, as a plane that hasn't had much foreign press compared to Western designs, as an outsider I seem to recall the problems with the LCA have been two-fold. In addition to the standard technical difficulties all new planes face, especially one that is breaking new ground for the builders as the LCA is, hasn't there been a ton of political crap it's had to deal with as well? Changing requirements, uncertain funding levels, lackluster political support by some, overzealous support for problematic areas by others, that sort of thing? If so, I'm frankly amazed they were ever able to get the project this far. Sounded more likely to implode under its own confusion while the imported planes had (relatively) easier times of it. -
Yet Abe Vigoda still lives! 91 and counting...rock on, Fish! TBH, I was uncomfortable watching Clark on New Year's Eve the past few years because he was so frail I honestly worried he'd collapse on camera. I will always remember him most from Bloopers and Practical Jokes, as most people my age would. The Jedi Master

The idea of getting a candidate that's going to be spot-on with domestic AND foreign affairs is just ridiculous nowadays, so you might as well pick one.
