The only reason you'd need to "install" it would be so you could use the uninstall later AFAIK. Other than that, I thought it would just work, just like the Thirdwire sims.

Of course the funny part is that it's not the sub at all, it's crap on the dock next to it that went up and it spread to the sub. Ironically, since it's powered down and tied up to a dock they couldn't just submerge to put it out.

Of course they did. It's like the Jurassic Park thing. The first film you have a long buildup to reveal the dinos, but by the 3rd film there's no point anymore. People know what they look like, so just get them going already. That's why the first film in a series is often the best, althoguh with Aliens Cameron turned the franchise on its head and did NOT make a simple sequel that repeated the formula, leading to a situation where some people like the 2nd more than the first even. On the flip side, drawing out the reveal is no guarantee of success. Look at 98's Godzilla by Emmerich. They didn't show the thing fully (lots of close ups of parts of it and glimpses before) until near the end, but it didn't make the film better.

Why do you need a Scooby Doo ship? RO-RO! Zoinks! -
I've found all the STALKER games hard to start, but hard to STOP once you're into it. The first 5-10 hrs of playing any of the 3 always leaves me feeling like "ah, I'll go do something else instead." After I'm about 15 hrs in, it's "gotta get back in there and search around those anomalies in the SW" and "hope I make it back to camp before it gets dark".

We must have working elevators!! And little cars to tow the planes around! And crewmen walking about the deck making "Oh, yeah!" gestures when the planes cat off. -

I see no reason why we couldn't have some F-15s in Keflavik with a merged install. Stary: TK, are there rocks ahead? Dave: If there are, we'll all be dead! DanW: No more rhymes now, I mean it! Dave: Anybody want a peanut? -

Am I the only one who heard Harold Faltermeyer's stirring theme in their head when they saw that sunrise shot of the deck with birds lined up at the cats? -
Do you have wifi on your morning commute? They don't make a 3G Touch!

That would be nice if true.

TK's release schedule is like the Spanish Inquisition...no one expects it! His chief weapon is surprise. Surprise and awe. His TWO chief weapons are surprise, awe, and announced features. His THREE chief weapons... I'll come into the thread again. -

Lifeboats = ejection seats for ships. -
Does it work in the Windows game controllers applet? If so, do you have the axes mapped in SF?

You don't HAVE to buy anything beyond the prime fee, but it seems a waste to do so if you don't!

I'm also eager for Skyfall, the next Bond film. The Avengers might be worth it as well.

Oh, there's Megan Fox.

Cheddar? It's the single most popular cheese in the world! Not around here, sir. No? What IS the most popular cheese around here then? -
Because no matter what the job is, someone somewhere will want a game simulating it.

F-35 to replace JASDF F-4Ejs
JediMaster replied to SayethWhaaaa's topic in Military and General Aviation
I think most countries looking at getting them have tankers, don't they? Israel probably won't need to, though, with a half tank I bet the F-35 could still circumnavigate that place 5 times. However, I think it safe to say that if it's not "war time" most countries likely WILL have the tanks on for ease of use. The difference is in a high threat environment the F-16 or Hornet can't just strip down to carrying 4 missiles and disappear to radars. -

I don't know, that comment about "Myst" and "Doom" leads me to believe this is a LOT older than 21st century!
