Wait, you got 8 GBs of RAM and a Sempron?? You know those are the old Athlon 64s, right?
I got a C2D (actually just upgraded to a 3.33GHz from my original 3GHz model) and believe me, even in games that don't recognize dual cores, it's a lot faster than my Athlon FX-57 was. Part of that is due to the internal architecture just being faster, and part of that is because Windows itself recognizes the 2nd core and can do a lot of things with it while you're gaming on the other one, preventing pauses/stutters/slowdowns.

Speaking of leaks.....Turns out the script of Salvation was leaked out too, that and the fact that the fans weren't at all happy original ending which saw the lead characters demise prompted a rewrite. Silly emotional fans. That makes zero sense if they were signed on for a trilogy from the start.

I once had heatstroke on a trip to the zoo when I was a teenager. It was a very hot and humid day in Miami and I felt light headed and nauseous. Then I noticed everything got VERY bright because my pupils actually dilated, and I almost fell over. The funny part was I stopped feeling overheated when it happened.

Some planes have OBOGS, others still have LOX bottles. It depends on the plane and the model.

I can't believe someone re-recorded this song from South Park!
I like it better when Butters sings it, though.

Well, you'd assume all air bases and refineries would be targets so where would the fuel and ammo and airframes come from?

Let's take a 5 minute break. Smoke 'em if you got 'em...

Did anyone notice anything 'odd' about Simon Pegg and a certain Trek reference he made in his series Spaced??Having just watched Spaced on DVD after its final release here I was quite amused!

DCS and LOMAC have totally different terrain areas, so the chances of that are nil unless the terrain for one was imported into the other.

Starforce cannot be a virus, for by definition a virus spreads to other PCs without you actively telling it to.
I suppose it might be called "malware" by some definitions, however, as I believe that is defined as "software you don't want that causes unexpected consequences."

As far as prices go, all I can say is--NEVER go after 6PM to a movie. NEVER. It's just a great way of throwing money down the drain. You get nothing over seeing the film in the afternoon.
I liked this film. The fact that this starts fresh without invalidating anything that came before is a smart way to go.
When Pine and Quinto and Nimoy showed up on SNL this weekend, I was very surprised. I was rolling when Nimoy called all the fans that hated the new film "dickheads."

Many, many miles. I forget exactly. This launch sucked from a local perspective...very hazy and lots of light cloud obscured the view.
Of course the feed on NASA TV looked 100x better!

Beware using any other mods with NF1/4 for it was designed to "stand alone".
Not to say you can't add other planes, terrains, ground units, weapons, etc, just that it's trickier than with a stock game to do so without the mod, the thing you add, or both breaking in the process.

Yes, a real beauty!I ask for nothing, cause everything Giuseppe makes is outstanding!!!!
Actually, I ask that he win the lottery so he can retire and dedicate himself to making planes like this full time.

Depends on the range and size of the target.

That was dropped. That was the original plan when the game was called Knights of the Sky, but they've made many changes since then.

I remember a semi-platformer Blue Max game from the mid-80s that had little to do with WWI other than you being in a literally blue biplane.

However, I believe when you create missions you can override the default loadouts. I know I have DL'd several off the net where Su-33s are carrying R-77s.

Personally I'd opt for a faster dual core CPU for the equivalent price. A slower quad-core won't give you any benefit in most programs right now.

With all these luggage strikes lately, you'd think they would have airport people go out and try and scare off the luggage before every takeoff.
