It's invaluable for flight sims. Some people have trouble using it with ArmA (can't get used to it) but others also swear by it.
If you can afford it, it is recommended highly!

The other thing is if there are other people in your building using the same freqs/channels you could find intermittent lag/dropouts with no clear cause.

More RAM allows more textures to be held on the card, which can result in the following possible benefits--using higher-res textures in the game, taking less time to load, increasing your FSAA and AF settings. Generally speaking things won't run any faster, unless you experience slowdowns using high-res textures when they get swapped in and out of card RAM. Then more RAM will alleviate that.

I think the pedal choices are Saitek and CH, either will work fine. Cougar has problems with wearing over time. While it usually works great out of the box, after a year or two you may find it too loose. Unfortunately, "modding" it to make it into the stick it should be will likely run you 2-3x the cost of just the sticks themselves.
I know many people prefer the CH or Saitek products for that reason.

I don't think it can use Vikhrs. Maybe that's an Igla rigged up as cheap AA missile?
-
So we can use the seeker for a WVR missile for BVR...we just can't use that missile for BVR.

Watch C-Span.

I don't know if the Brits deployed any Jaguars to Iraq or not, at least not in that time period. I think they're all retired now. Besides, if there's a good way to describe a Harrier, it's a "shrieking sound." Those things are ridiculously loud.
As for that F-16, it sounds like it might have been the VISTA/AFTI F-16. Other than the T-birds it's the only F-16 in a R/W/B scheme I know of and I think you'd have recognized if it was a T-bird!

Really? I think it's retarded. I've NEVER thought DST was a good idea. Sure, if you're a farmer it is. However, just how many people in the US are farmers now?
Besides, I live in Florida. We have PLENTY of sunshine. We don't need more. I want to know who thought it would be a good idea to have kids waiting at the bus stops for school in pitch black darkness? 7:42AM sunrise?? Give me a break, that's stupid. The human body naturally adjusts to the changing length of the day during the year. DST totally screws that up.
ABOLISH IT.

I think TW's site is it right now, but I don't remember if Paypal was the sole way of paying for it?

I'd like to know how to get that J-10 into LOMAC:FC as well!

From the shots I saw before, it looked kind of like Battlefield Team Fortress 2, actually.

LOL, I was going to suggest Forbidden Planet as well, but I realized it may not work.
Walter Pidgeon was just AWESOME and although you could improve some of the effects and such, it just wouldn't be the same. That said, those posters were crap. I mean, there's another version of the poster with the likenesses of Walter Pidgeon, Leslie Nielsen, and Anne Francis on it, but they still show Robby carring a woman who was NOT in the film! He carried Anne Francis and they clearly were NOT the same person.
Stupid conventions of that time!
I also would say The Day the Earth Stood Still...but it's already being done and I'm apprehensive about it.
They've redone Omega Man.
I HATED F451 when I read the book, or rather read 1/3 of it and couldn't stand anymore.
Maybe Buck Rogers?

For me, the ability to force FSAA in Unreal 3 engined games like UT3 and R6 Vegas under Windows XP was an important addition.

If your district gets the jobs, you laud the decision. If your district loses the jobs, you criticize the decision. It always works that way.

"We're going to replace those '75 Fords you've been using with these '82 Fords. Say thank you!"

Wait, they're talking about using an ASRAAM seeker for BVR???
-
It's all about the g forces ie deceleration. The lower that force is, the better you are.

I'm not surprised at all. This Seasprite deal has never been anything but problems.

They've been talking about B-52 reengining for literally decades now. However, the C-5 fleet's need was higher so they're doing that first. Yet the price is now $12bn on the LOW side of the estimates, and some are predicting it may run $18bn. To put 4 new engines on 100 planes! Ok, I think they're doing some cockpit renovations too, but still.

While the partner nations have had input on what capabilities the JSF should have for the price, I hesistate to say any "help" was needed other than funding and production commitments on it. Also, the JSF could have proceeded without said "help" quite readily, it just probably would've faced cancellation more easily if not for the multinational ties!
