I tried the PC version and liked it well enough, if you're into that kind of shooter. Little "tactical" gameplay here.

Actually, Israel's is usually more properly referred to as the IDFAF, just like Japan's JASDF (not JAF).
The IAF has always been the IAF as far as I remember...since before Israel had one.
The funny thing about this competition is the competitor have a WIDE range in price. Gripen and MiG-29 at the low end and Typhoon at the high end.

It's not so bad. I hear 49 is the new 46.

At $1.6b, all you get is the planet's most expensive glider.
If you want to fly it into space, be prepared to pay double that.

Well, Putin isn't Gorby or Yeltsin and Bush isn't Reagan or Clinton. That's all it really takes to change things around.
-
Right, regardless of personal feelings they have to do what is required of them.

Yet the RAF has no problem letting the IAF know their frequencies...

I know some things in LOMAC can be changed in the file meinit.xml (I think). It's close to that if it's not exact.
I've never done it myself, so I'm unsure exactly what can be altered there.

Hmmm. You might try dropping NP an email and asking. Vincent and company are pretty good about helping out.

Wow that looks good.

I've not been happy ever since EA took the NASCAR license away from Papy and pretty much killed NASCAR on the PC.
I've also not been happy since Sony took the F1 license away from the PC as well. Of course, we have F1 mods for rFactor that are doing pretty well, but the NASCAR mods haven't been quite as good.

The MiG-28! No one's been that close before...

Right, for all it knows it could've looked like, oh, a bunny rabbit.

I get visions of Bill Murray telling scary stories over a campfire...

4-bladed prop? Pretty rare in WWI.
-
Yeah, i just noticed how small the middle wing is compared to the other 2.

Every time I see "Martinsyde" I somehow picture Raymond Burr in the cockpit.
I can't believe just how many WWI planes I've never heard of, and this company's planes are some of them.

Gotcha and while I am truely sorry to learn of the challenge life has given you; you seem to be bitter towards anyone you consider "normal". I assume you mean anyone without a disability. And then go so far as to say they are retarded? I know life delt you a hard hand my friend but but those words are a bit harsh. He doesn't mean just anyone, he means people like the woman driving the car who ran over the disabled woman. They have no disability themselves, yet are incapable of as much thought as those who really do have disablities.
Like Carlos Mencia says, "When I say someone's 'dee-dee-dee', I'm not talking about mentally handicapped people. I'm talking about the moron that's 'dee-dee-dee'!!"

Spray and bray?

Yeah, if there's no CCIP I also dive bomb and tend to release at VERY low altitude. Unless it's a nuke, of course. Then I lob it and run.
-
Yes, that's true that they may have different flight envelopes than the dedicated helos. Of course, that points to a flaw in the design of the gunships then, doesn't it?

Yeah, sometimes it's better to hold out a while longer until you can afford the better one or risk wasting the money you're spending now!

I never heard of Pfalz's triplane. Neat!

I'm not sure exactly what the point of this exercise is, honestly...
