Klaxianti Dai-Shan/Shin Alien Aggressor Pack
Typhoid replied to Viper63a's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
Awesome!! Cool pack! -
ISIS has released a video they claim that shows the missile shoot down. It looks like they've spliced together a lot of other footage, hard to tell. RIP

I agree!!!!! On Windows 7 and took the upgrade to 10. What a mess!! Rolled back to 7 and there I will stay.

I flew the T-2 (backseat) in VT-10 for quite a few flights. Lots of fun and for a newbie - quite challenging at the time.

The problem I have with Trump is that many of his positions now are the opposite of what they were before. He's just playing to the crowd. He's no more "authentic" than Hillary (puke, spit)

heh heh Having sailed on the Iowa and watched the firing of those magnificent guns, I think that I can say with confidence that as great as it might be to have a few of those ships back in service, the window of opportunity has gone and the difficulties of bringing one or more of those magnificent ships back is a bit more complicated than most people realize. a nice thread on recommissioning or building new ones - http://warships1discussionboards.yuku.com/forums/64/Should-Battleships-Be-Back-In-Service in the end it really isn't about what the equipment is or is not. It is the will in the national leadership to use it, with a coherent strategy and the intestinal fortitude of the political leadership to actually stand behind the men and women they send to war and see it through - and also hugely important, the perception of our enemies of that will and capability. It doesn't matter how many battleships, carriers, fighters, tanks, armored brigades, etc., that are on OOB. If those forces don't have the fuel, the ammunition, the trained personnel, and the guts of the leadership behind them, it doesn't matter. today, the Current Criminal Regime has no intellect, no strategy, no guts - and everyone in the rest of the world knows it.

Never forget Always fight back prepare for the next attack; we know not the where, the when or the how, but our enemies will never stop.

USS Midway vs. USS Intrepid, which one is better to visit?
Typhoid replied to Nesher's topic in The Pub
I've never been to the Intrepid, but I visit the Midway every time I'm in San Diego. I'm a "member of the crew" with discounts, newsletters, etc. an obvious bias..... -

it trashed my printer. Wouldn't print despite a whole lot of effort to reload the driver. I finally got it to work and then it went "off-line" again for no apparent reason. just focusing on the display - The icon sizes and text on all the programs were too large and I couldn't adjust them down to the same size. I got block options that wouldn't let me adjust to where they needed to be. so far - all workable and not a killer. When I ran SF - the graphic settings had all been reset to low end. Ok, just reset them but couldn't reset to the highest screen setting that I had before. When I ran the program it was very choppy and slow. The previously smooth was gone. At that point I just decided to Hell with it and stepped back. No, I didn't update the GPU driver because I had just done that a few days prior. (Pre-10) It didn't occur to me to reload that again. At that point, I was just pretty well fed up with it. When I loaded Windows 7 a few years ago, it automatically updated all the drivers and rather expected to see the same with Windows 10. Rolling back was a snap although I had to reload my virus protection since I had loaded the 10 compatible version. \ The video card I have isn't the most modern and high end but it's not bad - nvidea GE Force 9600 and an I7 processor with 16gig mem.

and........................ Back to Windows 7. The rollback was easy. I would probably have put up with and worked through most of the issues - but the video quality was a killer. The impact on my NVidia card was near catastrophic, it slowed down to a couple of generations ago. so back. Not again will I join the Windows Beta test team.

the Wings series video seems to be screwed up somehow. bad bad bad
-
Mediocre so far. video display is not as good although the movies and photos are top notch. Cannot adjust pages and text or icons to best display. printer driver is not working, can't print. most everything else seems to be working ok so far. looking for the rollback to 7 option....... I cannot post here from the computer, having to use a mobile device! can post elsewhere just fine.

cool videos!! aircraft firefighting is quite the field! Watching the L1011 dropping on a live fire a few years ago was quite exciting too.
