  1. If memory serves me correct kev...there is a ww2 mod that hass all you need to start a basic ww2 scenario...what folders etc to delete.. Ive never had the aircraft being added back to my ww2 installs...odd.

  3. If you are a smart cookie and use countermeasures and the hogs agility,you wont need to eject...lol
  4. They are hi res,its the 3d camera view thats to blame,not much you can do really.

  6. indeed...sometimes a stray poly or flipped face will do it too. flipped face means the normal face creates shadow,so flipped face will show shadow from mesh to ground and on ground will be gap,its reversed if you see what I mean...follow that ? lol
  7. I think its the tga doing it....fence texture maybe needs two sided in 3dsmax?...dunno lol

  9. I seem to have lost drawings for this google brings up some but cannot find what I did last time...most drawings are way to small or not very detailed..I had a pdf with various mks of the new hawks for diff countries..any one got any good links...looking thru my dvds for them...damn lol
  10. The mistake you are making is renaming the actauil stock exe..I think example... copy strikefighters2Europe.exe and its ini ,rename them to whatever mod name you want mines Great Britain in pic then run the Great Britain.exe to create the folders for you to add the mod you want....

Right... few 3d things had to fix,texture tweaks,and some testing. need to sort lights...doing... formation lights need attention...doing template...doing for some reason I had two versions of max file for same a\c so had to fix...done..(mapping on black skin was wrong...fixed. ..) will update progress here from now on.
  12. while my main projects are on hold till I get the stuff back... I am torn between finishing (pics below) Fuji T1A or making new templates for Bae HawkT1A or Hawk T2 so at least one is finished...these are they... 3d models for both hawks done..fuji still needs stuff.. only one vote please for these 3 only.. after wednesday eve I will see what gets done. ty all.

  17. if the hull for example is over 5ooo polys ,you need to break it to smaller parts..That model is high poly,can see that from pics...lod exporter will crash if over limit as posted above

Big? thats fekkin huuuuuuuuuge lol you need to check in 3dsmax that the dimensions are correct to real world...make a box the correct dimensions,and check model against that,if the size is wrong(reported in mesh properties,gives true mesh size) then if it is indeed wrong,you have to scale it down,then xform reset parts to get them to show correct real world size in mesh properties. xform reset is a pain as it will in most cases screw up animations..make sure if you do use it,to unlink parts as any parts linked will screw up too. if you cannot cure size probs with xform reset then only other way is a total rebuild.unfortunatley
