  1. Kev remapping old Tjet Fuselage to sort dec probs etc etc...should apply to E and G can do it to one or two jpegs instead of the many that exist ..??
  2. kev dec bleeds fixed...ignore stretched stars n bars its co fuse aint mapped properly yet...plus a\c was slightly off centre in max so will redo co-ord for decs etc and get them as close to original as poss.

  7. will use most existing textures just on better sized jpegs...probably 2 rather than one at 4096x4096 lol... really,its just fuselage and gear,airbrake doors that I ll need to remap,I ll paint it basic alumium.skin,panel lines rivets etc.so others can add theyre own weather etc.. probably do 2 textures 1 for fuse wings etc 2048x2048 and the bits such as interiors,gear,wells pit,on 1024x1024 if large enoug for good detail. I ll keep meshes same names etc..and hopefully heirachy will be same.

  9. Where you have cut out the light...ive done that with formation lights on F4` s I have...no flashing of polys from distance.

    you could add it via the ini and loadout ini...I did it basic so people can add what they want.
  11. if you use C model LOD and put tga in main A folder...and add the entries to the data.ini. I have got the A max file...will add chute when ive time.

  13. ok...created chute and ropes. set to pos xyz euler xyz and bez scale. scaled the chute and rope to open close animated it...when make clear box to move the chute,and select it.I cannot select chute and its anim ceases to work....any ideas?
  14. hmmm yeah...I wish that autodesk had left in the mesh feature where it was double sided for a plane or such as it was in max 5 ish tijme..unless you deselected it as only one facing I`ll release as is and work on updating chute...
  15. when I map I copy model and delete any parts that repeat..such as wheels on your model...and break it up to lay flat from, say top view. then when all parts are detached and lay flattened,I then attach them all I then add uvmap to it...quite an easy method.I use texporter to make template ,or you can render it from inside max. to a bmp or jpg
  16. Sorting out some bits then will upload sunday sometime. (New chute finally working properly)

I think it was controller main settings that were wrong... though it works now...in max 9 2009 it only works if you click on chute,otherwise its animations dont work...odd...im gonna reinstall my original max version 9 this ones poop. can chutes have shadows in user otions in max? gonna try.,then this ready for upload on sunday.
  18. I use double sided on things you may see sky through...such as fuselages etc...otherwise you see daylight between say fuselage and nose for example....one thing to check is mesh properties then look top right at user defined properties.
