    Kev I thought they used Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchon "109" s in 633 squadron ?...or was that just in Battle of Britain..? 109-buchon and heres a wav of the G flypast sound...lovely sound...this one had a merlin tho Buchon Licensed copy 109G Recorded sound.

  5. Im really a fan of the "supersonic sportscar" fishbeds,since seeing 2 at airshow...I know they are fuel guzzlers and not endurance a\c but mikoyan really got this bird correct...its perfect..looks the biz...just love em...

Something Big,this way cometh... wip...model done...all mapped..started to apply textures... and b4 anyone points out...no some bits arent 100% accurate...ie the pilot\co pilot have an acces door that lowers the seat to enter and eject...this model is the 16 wheeled version,I think the A had only 8...wheel bogies arent exact as I found pics too late to redo...may redo later...dunno.

    This is the bare metal skin of the newset P47 N..the one in D\L section isnt fully sp2 compatible afaik....yet. Just tried "out of box"...and as you see prop is fine here..

    I did 2 versions of the N...the 1st was early model in 3ds max (not been modelling in max long) and was basic...updated the model..(total rebuild)..and produced the P-47N-15.. the latter pic looks like the older version...
  10. you can...you need blank decals tho for the a\c that dont use a specific decal... make say 10 emblem tga`s,named lets call them EMB EMB000 EMB001 etc each one has a different emblem...if u want a\c number 3 in the sqd to have no emblem at al, then EMB001 will be blank tga... did I explain that right?...lol
  11. shadow problem...disable its shadow and see if it goes away... if it has this in the ini file... [shadow] CastShadow=TRUE ShadowLOD=A\C name.SHD ShadowType=1 ShadowCastDist=10000 MaxVisibleDistance=400 Replace with [shadow] CastShadow=TRUE ShadowCastDist=10000 MaxVisibleDistance=1000 or similar

  13. as kev says...if the axis is only set in max to go up n down as in shocks...it wont rotate in steering

  15. From Tornado models I have,the attachment angles dont match for those four pylons.. copy the angles from left pylons,and paste over the right side pylon attachment angle entries..

  18. This mod has some of the communities top modders....and you can see that,from the screenies....this work is awesome....and the most notable bit of this spectacular mod is... you get this for free....you dont get mods for FS9 this good.... great work guys....

  21. got this but no idea how to animate it moving lie a flag...ideas?..if anyone wants the model etc...just ask and I ll post link..I just used F3 tank and replaced lod...to test...but it can be added as a weap or pilot etc...but must start in air...lol...hawsers could be longer but its only for testing...
  22. I did a banner towed by the tiger moth a while back....the banner was a mesh in 3ds max attached to the moth model...but you could add the banner as a weapon on an invisible pylon...all you need is an attachment point then will show u what I mean after this...
