I use real metal texture photographs...found on web.....I have a few large jpgs...select metal texture picture that the mopdel is skinned in..ie ..aluminium..then I cut a section and paste into panels on my metal skins...if you get a decent jpeg,you also get variety in shading and light\dark areas so the cut areas are not constant in looks...I also play around with the areas,darkening ,smoothing edges etc.. see results below. top pic...is using basic colour and gradient fill to give a curved look to wing... 2nd pic...process I described above...after filling in rivets ,panel lines etc.. 3rd pic...adding details,dirt,and general wear n tear...

    Indeed acid...afterall its us pc owners who made cod series what it is before the dreaded consoles were even though of...IW have stitched up the pc community big time....well I am not buying the game where I cant play clan matches with my clanmates..F*** IW

  7. Its the SFP1 model...I did repair some 3d errors...missaligned panel lines etc...but TK wont allow it to be re-released.(fair enough I spose)..so I will adjust the skins for the old model...its not too much to do...

  9. Anyone know where I can get a 3ds max model,or 3ds ..of a decent A4E?...nothing outstanding...just good basic model...doesnt need animation or control surfaces etc.. If yes...please pm me...dont respond here.. thnx

    Ive decided to try my hand at high poly model...and decided on the A4 as its a great looking a\c....however I may do make it lower poly for the game...saying that theres one already... cheers for link...sf...but seems u gotta donate 1st then wait ages to d\l a model.(2 to 6 weeks).when you have earned sufficient points...fek that may as well just carry on as I am...lol thnx tho

  12. I have a strange occurence...on a certain base...u start with clouds on runway...u can see a base down thru the ground...and take off up through the ground...will post screenie asap..

    yes kev thats the one....basically the things done.(both versions)..just the skins needs finishing...and the mk31 contra prop ...one isnt rotating...easy to fix tho.....and fm needs attention...as AI seem to take off soon as they move...sometimes anyways
