    no idea when will be finished...but heres some wips...of just 2 of what ive got to do... gloster pioneer and gloster F.5-34 also ive a seafang mk3 which needs the skin finishing...if someone wants to finish it...got the a\c in game...

  7. You cannot get a "Copy" of the desert.cat file as its a stock part of the SFP1 terrain "desert"...you would need to buy the game to get it...

  11. ok heres a puzzler... set up a circular plane...mapped to a tga and bmp...not at same time...will become clear now... set to 90% opacity.... set as afterburnernodename=Burner (Name of the ab mesh) went in game...and so... any ideas....? I even tried a bmp version as mentioned above... I know its not the tga as I used one from the aggressor f4 I did that I know works.. all I get is this....the mesh faces are facing correct way...(backwards) If I dont assign an afterburnernodename= entry the tga shows up ,but always on..as it would do.....?? this is driving me nuts...this is the only tga mapped to the burner mesh...and its linked to jetpipe...then to fuselage...tried linking to fuselage...no effect...im baffled....seriously could someone make me a tga of this so I can see if my tga is faulty?.. cheers
  12. suicidal... I had similar... I found it due to excessive use of the pc with memory intensive programmes and not restarting to clear the ram etc,before playing the sim...I exprerimented a few times doing some memory intensive stuff with no reset and same result... gfx card was operating below its normal temp at time...(GF8800gtx@)1gb mem

  14. I was thinking....we have the aggressors F4,and F16 etc...so why not a small mission on range..? heres my idea... USAF v USSR... we adapt a few missiles so no live warheads, they cant launch etc but we get a lock.... and hence a "Kill"...1 point to us... I was toying with invisible harmless missiles that we fire..(no smoke...rockets invisible) so when you lock up the "Target"...u get a virtual "Kill" I dont know wether having the contestants on same side...as it may make it harder to shoot them as they will move according to your flight path...? I think maybe this could be feasible...tho I havent a clue to making a mission as such...im a dolt in that area...lol wot you guys think..? also would the game recognise a "Kill"...even tho the missile is harmless and the target is unharmed...
  15. could create some invisible harmless missiles...that are fired and as above,u get a recorded kill when u hit the bad guy..set a pylon to have the invis missile and a fixed missile on pylon that cant fire...so it looks like the CAP-9, active seeker only, mike mentioned..would be easy to make some to add as a fixed object..
  16. I had a thought...Ive seen some aggressor film footage ,where the aim 9 was just attached to an F16 with the seeker active...and no warhead,or fuel etc...and in a mission lock on for 5 seconds and that was a "Kill"...so maybe summat like that ...and 3 lock ups and ur out of the game...

    well I looked at the 3d model and ur right eric...looks like it needs a total revamp...no offence mike,but theres bad polys,gaps etc everywhere...I doubt I have the time to do it...
