  2. check the weapon attachment types tally in the data.ini and weapodata.ini... failing that open the editor,open weapondata.ini ...save and try again...if weap eitor wont open...set it to win98\me compatability
  3. I personally think theres nothing new...its just the resized screenshots giving the illusion...from non shader \hdr effect screenies ive taken...it looks the same

  5. I have woe with the Oct 08 patch...and it is in a\c folder as normal but still dont show up textured...seats there just no texture...tho the bmp is there I looked at lod and bmp is named..Mk10-4.bmp so that seems to be the reason..

  8. My internet has been down for 3 days...so I kept busy....new panel lines,rivets weathering etc...still needs a few touches to the templates.. F4-E Phantom II gets a new job... sorry its more than 1...couldnt resist...hope u like...

  12. I have this...of the 21st fighters squadron..was mig21 ub but upgraded to the newer SU-9F...Croatian Air Force....I soon will have 2 squadrons yes...and its working btw...

Well this looks interesting...ive decided to try to make a base...RAF St Athans here in south wales...google earth found me a good place to start....the 3d stuff I can do...all I would need is some help with the ini`s etc... heres the base pics... if u look at top pic...see if u can spot the F-4...and the vc 10... 2nd pic is approaching from east

  20. on 2nd lods...instead of say...landing gear legs having all the parts u see close up on 1st lod...u can get away with just the leg and wheel...for example

As Julheim says.....get away with as few polys as possible...saves you work mapping too... :) if u can paint it so it looks like a bolt...do it...lol...theres loadsa textures out there in interweb world...ha thats what I did with p47 N...save making metal textures I found bare metal photos and copy n pasted bits into various panels on the jug...so no weathering or wear n tear was needed,well,very little...really all I did to this was add rivets etc...a tad of weathering,rust oil etc....
  22. in top down view......you have to align the pivot X axis to the edge of the flap..(front edge..) so the pivot X is lined up withe the top edge Then from front ...centre the pivot to the flap...then align the X axis to the flap in that view so it runs through the flaps centreline...then animate it.. the rotation,scale etc should be TCB...in assign controller..
  23. sfp1 did allow it...I had 2 different colour tanks for the lightning...but the 3d model had a different bmp assigned as texture...so that may be the problem ..
