  1. Serial # Decal problem

    I think this is what your trying to do is... If you want a certain a\c to have the number and a corresponding graphic such as a motif..... you must name the number as normal...and the motifs must follow in order...and be named ..eg.. mot000 mot001 mot003 so a\c number num009 would have the motif called mot009 you just name the decal motif in order as per the numbers if one a\c in the sqd has no motif...then create a blank tga so it is included in the decal list and is missed out when applying a motif..ie....num001 and mot001 is a\c with number and motif...say a\c 3 and 4 have no motif...they will have a num003 and num..and a blank tga called mot003 and mot004 also check you have decallevel number set correctly for the numbers and motifs

  4. Up at the crack of dawn...ur best mate flying wingman.....a full tank of motion lotion.......fully armed....and out on the hunt for enemy aircraft just that mile too far from home.....you cant beat a good dogfight.... also gives the aircrew summat to do painting on those kills....
  5. Indeed...I decided a while back...while trolling thru my model collection...and thought a modern paint job on my ressurrected SU-9 might just be the ticket... I originally stopped this model when pasko released his versions...I have done a bit of detail to this model.and thought ,even tho theres a 9 out...more the merrier...lol ive had to do a lot of work on the texture as the psd file somehow got corrupted...so I have had to redo some layers to add to the base texture...added new panel lines where I hadnt finished them..3 new layerss of part panel lines......and still need to add more panel lines and remove the old ones on the base texture....which will mean loads of copy paste smooth etc thats before the new panel lines are added...lol...also needs some painting of cockpit,gears and gearwells etc....
  6. Look in data.ini for the aircraft scroll down to control surfaces... and under the offending elevator ... if it says ReverseModelOrientation=FALSE...change to TRUE... or vice versa
  7. Veltro I have a cockpit for the whirlwind...thats not too far from completion...ish if someone can finish it or get it in game at least...I could finish it... so... if someone can do it...its available...

  11. Not sure if u edit lod...and remove the pylons there?...or you can delete it in data.ini..? or just dont load weapons on it...

    lol...ok...will amend link heres the bitmap.. Fem Pilot bitmap you will need to copy and edit Red7111.ini and lods to reflect the bmp new name...or just use as Red7111

  17. In 3ds max it should be in normal at position 1 and full burner at position 10...burner position is same as gears down,,,etc

  20. unless you have 3ds max and the model...it is trial and error... Partly why I dont do more..(other modders) a\c skins its paint...load game...check...take screenie...paint...game...check...screenie...ad infinitum...lol
  21. FC...try adding a dummycomponent...transparent "Plane" ...set via material editor...shape it roughly to fuselage...from top view....at least you get a large portion of the shadow gaps filled I assume the fuselage texture is double sided in mat ed?

  23. Ok...parts of it were assigned wrong material as I had mistakenly attached all meshes to Parent mesh... re download,as its now fixed..
