The tanks are on it because I used it to test...I know the outer tanks are pointed for supersonic flight...it just loaded the same tank as ive not changed names.... radome is correct....reworked from ages ago... as to numbers I know about the no splitting numbers...I thought I may have seen it before as I wanted....tested it and its fine....works ok... wheels...im remaking them as they are blocky.also wings are correct for PG and some others...wing shape is more staggered for the G B MG GB some of which arent being done MG and GB....but who knows.. its still wip so not final...ive still bits to redo...as some are chunky...like it had square pitot tubes lol thnx for feed back tho
  6. hmmm not tried yet...decs need tweaking...orange for the Blue 7G...got to make them... you can,I found out....with tga decs numbers too long.... so reduced width of tga by 85%....then made canvas size back to proper width... on main layer two borders ,filled with white...then alpha channel now had white borders...filled them with the black...saved and hey presto...didnt affect alpha channel at all.numbers are less long and look slightly higher as in pics above saves having go resize numbers and make new tga`s...

I have 60 decals.. just for example....1st half like 203001 to 203340 and rest are for example 303030 to 303070 rather than naming them all seperately...as its a lot lol more than 60 tbh all are Num000 to Num059 etc as per norm. tell you why...so same sqd but different skins use same numbers...but not at same time obviously....as some chinese 7Gs were blue early then white \grey later.. doing this will save having 2 &g a\c folders im sure this can be done..IIRC for 1st skin DecalNumberBlockSize=60 <or should both be 30 ? DecalNumberStart=0 DecalNumberEnd=29 and 2nd skin DecalNumberBlockSize=60 DecalNumberStart=30 DecalNumberEnd=60 cheers folks...kev will deffo know :)

I had probs with func keys not working...didnt notice I had not num lock enabled my keyboard key lights stay on wether on or offf ,function wise..lol...so easy to miss... do you hear camera click...might be its saving image in wrong folder...check options

  14. it might have been used for another fuction thats causing that...set back to default...or extract another control.ini and see what it says..will show you the correct function of each key
  15. you know what...im a complete moron....basically what I used to do...same way as b4 but.....select area around my dec...invert selection...paste as alpha....then I filled alpha with 75% grey ...sorted. works a treat I need a new brain...when I saw this post It came back lol seeing the swatches reminded me I kept grey in there as custom colour

I usually paste roundel on transparent background...you mean...have transparent layer...then a trans[parent layer on top with roundel in it...? will try that actually I think thats what im missing for ordinary decals its great,just cant see why now its not working my old way....as I said tho..paint.net is so quick...just saving one transparent layer with opaque roundel and it saves it same in alpha channel without even asking lol not fussed on gimp...tried latest even altering opacity seems slow the way they have those sliders...too much on screen atonce in seperate tabs all over the screen lol its no biggie this issue...its just I dont give in when summats wrong need to find what ive done wrong lol my age I guess,im old forgive me ha ha nah swam....alpha channel still solid colour...im at a loss as to why

  19. ive always done it this way and worked ok..with default settings for selection tools etc. its just baffling why it wont work. I selects background,then inverse...then add selection as alpha,after reducing opacity a tad in the image layer b4 selecting it....then save out...previously its never failed... last shot...alpha layer in psp and its just not opaque in the least....crazy..
  20. For those who want unpainted textures with decals...heres updated wings and tail texture... decal ini Roundel decal just put each in their respected folders and overwrite. Mig21FROM update.7z

  22. its odd....dont know why it wont allow opacity to alpha channel yet with paint.net I made a roundel on blank background...reduced its transparency for roundel to 85% saved as tga and worked...didnt even have to assign the roundel as alpha channel it just did it its not happened before...can you send me some steps pics of you doing it ?..cheers...see if my cc2018 settings are off maybe...
