  1. Along with the PhotoReal Wings over Europe and PhotoReal Korean War Terrains, here's the PhotoReal Vietnam Terrain for Wings Over Vietnam: Edward You can still see a couple of the old terrain tiles for comparison, it's still in beta. Yes it's High-Res. Available Soon Edward
  2. Okay it's finished Here's what you'll be flying over soon; Photoreal Vietnam Please go out and buy a copy of Wings Over Vietnam to support TK!!!! The flexibility and range of his flight engine is truly amazing. With these photoreal tiles this sim now looks better than FSX, at least on my computer The aircraft and ground objects were always superb, and now we have terrains to match them. I have three photoreal terrains all ready to go: Wings Over Europe Photoreal, Wings Over Korea Photoreal and Wings Over Vietnam Photoreal. I want to apologize to all for the delay in making these photoreal terrains available to you all. I assure you the delay is beyond my control; they will be available very soon. Edward
  3. Thanks for the info. It sure looks good flying over my Wings Over Europe Photoreal Terrain (Available Soon): Edward
  4. PhotoReal Wings Over Europe is finished and in testing and will be available soon: Photoreal Korean War is finished and in testing and will be available soon: Photoreal Vietnam is in beta and will be finished soon. It's coming along nicely: Edward
  5. The Korean War era has always been one of my favorite places to fly in Strike Fighters, and I finally got the Korean War Terrain where I want it This Terrain is 100% full scale and now it has high resolution photoreal terrain tiles. I hadn't released the full scale Korean War terrain I did yet as I wanted to get some high-res tiles going for it. This terrain comes from actual satellite photography of Korea, altered slightly by me to give it a less developed 1950's look. It is still in beta. This, and the Wings Over Europe Photoreal Terrain, will be available soon. Some screens of the upcoming Korea 1950-1953 terrain and campaign: Edward
  6. More Progress on Korea. I got rid of the low res forest and replaced it with actual satellite photography. I always thought my Korean terrain was too green specially as the Japanese clearcut a lot of the Korean Forests, so 1950's Korean was less green. This is what it looked like based on the pictures I've seen, and my own experiences. I was stationed there at Kunsan Air Base in 1987-88 when I was a Captain in the Air Force. Dave, I liked Korea but I never liked kimchi much Coming Soon. Sorry I can't get these done faster but I have a day job Edward
  7. Wrench Really great P-40E skin Thanks for doing it. Looks great flying over New Guinea. Edward

Special Thanks to TK for a Great Flight Sim and the A-Team for doing twenty-one really great WWI aircraft; and Aladar, MontyCZ, EmlD, Bortafarm and others for many more spectacular aircraft. Let me personally thank Charles, Capun and Geo for all their help and support with this. These fine gentlemen make modding a lot of fun. Installation: 1. Put the Flanders folder in your Terrain Folder 2. Select in Menu 3. Fly To Delete just remove the folder. Known Issues: Nothing in Life is Perfect. COMING SOON First Eagles Flanders 1916-1918 Campaign for the Royal Flying Corps, Royal Naval Air Service and German Air Service to follow. It will include all the great available aircraft. 10. OFF Phase 2

OFF Phase 2 is okay, but it suffers from some real problems most of which are the result of using CFS3 as a base, not the excellent work of the modders: 1. I'm getting the hang on exit bug now. 2. Medium distance model is poor; the AI aircraft are shooting at you long before you can see them; especially head-on. 3. Using time warp results in serious graphic anomalies so you have to fly all the way to the target which gets boring. 4. The AI really stinks; worse than First Eagles, all they ever seem to do is go into a diving turn and pull out at ground level or do a hammerhead stall. 5. The two seaters are inoperable; they fly so fast you can't catch them no matter what you are flying; plus the rear gunners are far too accurate. This is a real problem considering how numerous two-seaters were in the Great Air War. 6. Skins aren't working right yet. 7. Some of the plane models look poor, for example the Se5a wings are flat. Unfortunately none of these serious issues can be addressed due to the base game they are using. The gameplay suffers as a result. Edward

  17. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...ode=sst&id=4182 File Name: First Eagles Winter Replacement TerrainFile Submitter: Edward File Submitted: 27 Feb 2007 File Category: Terrains Here are Replacement Winter Terrain Tiles for First Eagles. They are modified EAW Tiles. They are not perfect, as I still have to replant a few trees, but they certainly allow you to fly over the Western Front when it's cold. These tiles change nothing except the look of the terrain. All roads, rivers trenches and airfields are intact. Installation Just drop these files in your wwiVerdun terrain folder. To delete just remove the files. Flanders Terrain is to follow. Edward Click here to download this file

  20. SH71 Fantastic Work on those Nieuport 17 skins They look great. I did alter your Lafayette Esc skin to add Squadron decal numbers for the whole squadron. I used the Black numbers that came with the Nieuport 17 in the D Folder. What color were the real Lafayette Escadrille Squadron numbers? Thanks again for doing all these great skins Edward
  21. Nieuport 24
