Actually that's the reason the resistance isn't flying the B-1, lol.

So I guess I'm to assume posting on CA is either going to be so radically awesome now I'll need a seatbelt, or I'm just going to pretend I'm driving on base... Did we have a little run-in with SF this morning sarge?

I've feel like I've been waiting for this movie since I was ten years old and saw Terminator 2 for the first time. I wanted that war of the machines scene to go on forever. And no matter how much I loved The Matrix I always kept thinking, "This would be so cool if it was just John Connor in the real world kicking a**" Also, as an aside. I was reading on the main USAF page that they helped alot, so there's apparently going to be a healthy dose of A-10 action in this movie. BONUS!

Hey guys, you're friendly neighborhood SrA dropping by to let you guys know up here at Ellsworth AFB (Rapid City, SD) we're having an airshow on the 30th and 31st of this month. Thunderbirds, A-10 West Coast Demo, *maybe* an F-22, B-25's since both my squadron and and the other squadron were in the Doolittle raid, and of course my very own pride and joy B-1B Lancers! If you're within a couple of hours of the airshow, you all should come on out. Ought to prove to be a goodtime. Here's the website. Dakota Thunder '09 GO T-BIRDS GO!

[sigh] I hate seeing these stories. I have a very good friend who's a Marine on his second tour in Iraq right now. When he got back from the first I saw him back home drunk and told me the whole story. It wasn't pretty. I'm glad my BONEs are over there taking of business to protect 'em.

Well I'm just a kid in America, but I listen to The English Beat, The Specials, The Jam, etc. So does I'd have been a mod right?

Wow, that man does not look happy. Well played OP, well played.

As far as the CAS role in Afghanistan goes, the B-1B and the A-10 are pretty much it. Yes, I said B-1 and CAS in the same sentence. JDAMs are a beautiful thing. Especially with 28 of them and 10 hours of fuel to spare.

Have 'em we don't want 'em, lol. Yeah I can dig some pics for you guys. Would really like to see 87 with the old "Screaming For Vengance" Judas Priest nose art again. -
A tale to be told...

The black hole that is the Ellsworth flight line on midshift. Back on swings now so I'll be around alot more. I'll check out that Hornet stuff. Also you guys doing EL squadrons for this, or just your crappy old Dyess jets. I mean it would be nice to have plane that actually get off the ground -
Mirage Factory Weapons Pack 01/25/2009
CowboyTodd41 replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
Haven't been in the TW tweaking game for a while and I guess I'm missing something. I installed the weapons pack, should've easy being an .exe and everything shows in the right folders, but when I run the game (WOE) there's no weapons for me to use, totally blank. Seems like I had this problem with the original weapons pack years ago, but couldn't remember how to fix it. Thx in advance. -

Man I've been gone to long...disapear and I come back to this! You guys really modeling TDS on this thing? That's bad news for the MiG drivers... cue this B-1 EWS maintainer looking for serious security violations, lol -
Hey guys sorry for being AWOL, too many exercises and long work hours the flightline have prevented me form posting to much, just letting ya'll know I'm still around. Anyway, just saying hi, and I'll posting more, like nowish

On a similar theme, the old saying of "When the last Blackhawk goes to the boneyard, it'll be on a sling under a Huey."

I'm really good at impersonating celebrity voices. I do a very excellent Sean Connery if I do say so myself

I had a crappy day at work, and that just brightened my day, thanks man

Hey all, just saying hi from the Land of the Midnight Sun! It's only only been two days and already I have a ton of awesome pics to show you guys when I get back. My squadron is based out of an old alert hangar at the end of the runway so we have the best spot on base to watch the launches. Get back to ya soon, later guys.

Happy B-Day you crazy, skin making guy, you

Congrats man, looks like a beautiful kid

Happy B-Day, even if hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side

Oh for all of you USAF guys...when you go see it again, watch for the part where they're in the C-17 flying back from the desert for a quick pan across the table and see the TO sitting there. Blue book with "USAF Technical Manual" written on it....awesome. "The humans got away with the Allsaprk." "You've failed me again Starscream!"

GO ROYALS! I don't care what their record is...I'm a diehard

Happy Independence Day everyone! -
The 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron! Modern Marvels has been here all week filiming the B-1's and our maintainers. Dunno when it's going to air but I'll let you all know as soon I do. Sadly I work swing shift so they're not around to film such an excellent 3 level maintainer doing his job of sitting on the truck and waiting for EW to break
